  1. I'd watch out for the TRTR crew next season. With a whole new set of rules (for various reasons) we're going to not only be the most behaved crew in the park, we're also going to provide the best overall experience (whether or not people think the ride's too short). I myself am already working on different things to make the guests happy, and give them a "memorable experience." Vortex ain't got nothin', bro.
  2. Best Memories....well, the easiest for me would be June 28th, but I'm not gonna talk about that. The funniest thing for me, though, would be me trying for a while to get hit by the water jet in seat 2 of TRTR, only to be foiled completely on the last day when none of the jets were working. Naturally, when I work the ride, this seat gets hit almost every time.
  3. So these were improvements to the prototype?
  4. Just like Central, people who work in the park will be biased *cough TRTR best crew cough* while everyone else thinks that The Beast/Scooters crew was sent from heaven to be the best crew the park has ever had.
  5. What I found on Coasterbuzz: A lot of people whining about the demo, for what reasons I cannot tell. Some people said it is worse that RCT2 and an embarrassment to the franchise. What are they smoking? How is this game bad? I think they are just having trouble getting used to all of the differences in style and gameplay. Overall, it's the same game, just with better detail, 10,000 more possible camera angles, the ability to ride what you make, more rides, more variety in the guests, the ability to make your own ride soundtracks, and one more type of park employee. I've had the game for a week now, and I am still finding more fun surprises every day. 10 out of 10 from me.
  6. Guest pointing to torches on TRTR cave: "Is that real fire?"
  7. Two more. "Is that the Tomb Raider?" (guest pointing over to Vortex) And, the guest thinking that the test seats out at greeter are the ride itself. I have had at least 5 adults think that this season.
  8. TRTR preshow spiel: "...this ride goes upside down...you may get wet..." Guest (5-20 seconds after having given the spiel: "Does this ride go upside down...do you get wet...what does this ride do?" Of course, the always classic: "Is this a roller coaster?" as they are either looking at it, or sitting on it.
  9. What was unfinished about it? The only thing I thought was bad about it was the horrendous loading times. They can range from 20 seconds to 3 minutes.
  10. oooh! oooh!, I got one! How many gallons does the lavapit in TRTR hold? And, while we're on TRTR, how much water gets sprayed out of the icefield every hour? Think about that now.
  11. Would someone get Stella here 30 cc's of humor. It's called a friggin' joke. Who is going to know the answer to this stupid question? I think the funny part is that I had a feeling someone would actually take what I said seriously. Sorry, I should have put a disclaimer on it saying: Believe this, and you are certifiable.
  12. 894 gallons more than the pond in the middle of the antique cars held.
  13. I know. Already picked one up on Tues. This game is amazing, and I just love how you can give the rides your own soundtrack....The Phantom Theater Express, yeah!
  14. First, you have to work in the park, no exceptions. Second, you have to find somebody that has it. I don't think too many people do, and nobody is going to just tell you where you can get it from. I will only make a copy for someone I absolutely know and trust not to break the rules and share with anyone they are not supposed to.
  15. I have to disagree. I can never get tired of this music. In fact, I've been playing the soundtrack on my computer for the past 6.3 hours. I've gone longer than that before too. I still love it, even after listening to it for this long. Just my opinion, though, I don't expect everyone to like it. As shocking as this is, there is at least one person out there who loves DHC.
  16. As with the first poster, once RCT3 hits shelves, I will be playing it whenever I can.
  17. Odd, he said he was going to try to get a job at TRTR next year. Why get a season pass? By the way, Thank you Bomber. This will haunt my dreams for days.
  18. I already know where the entrance is and I don't think the location matters. Coney wasn't affected by FOF and AFXT because they're out in the middle of nowhere, whereas IJST is going to be right in the middle of area. Coney will look different as some stuff will be moved and things will probably be added to add to the themeing. I, myself, still don't know if Tucker's is going to stay in place. It seems to me like they would need that little bit of land it's sitting on.
  19. I voted COH3D. I just thought some of the conventions inside the house were pretty clever, such as the dotted clown matching the wall they were standing against. Also, this house reminded me of the interior of the spaceship in "Killer Klowns from Outer Space." By the way, this is a pretty good z-movie with just some slightly cheezy acting. Hey, in terms of horror, it beats the hell out of "It." One last thing: is there no human decency anymore? How can anyone recommend DHC out of all the attractions in Fearfest.
  20. Oktoberfest (themeing wise) just got smaller with the conversion of the german food stand to Gump's Shrimp Shack. In fact, it's just a name given to the area now, since the only thing remotely german in the whole place is the glockenspiel (god knows I'm guessing at the spelling) on the front of the Festhaus.
  21. oooooooooohhh, waves. Sounds Fancy......and like a piece of crap at the same time.
  22. That's true. My grandfather was in battles similar to that scene in SPR, and it brought back memories. It also made my grandmother cry, just thinking about what he went through.
  23. It sounds about as respectful to the people that died as the Titanic ride idea the park just recently threw out.
  24. I don't think it's overboard. I was at the park at some point of the day for either working, riding rides, or both about 95% of the time they were open. Ask anyone I work with. Unless I have something important to do, I will be in the park riding stuff.
