  1. Wait..what? Sorry for getting off topic, but, Cartoon Network shows are 1,000x weirder than Nick shows... Adventure Time, while funny, is weird, Regular Show is weird, don't even get me started on Uncle Grandpa... If I saw Uncle Grandpa walking around Kings Island I would freak out. Well, isn't that a Boomerang? I'm glad people care for the dry park, no posts here on my favorite place. I'd like one Boomerang Bay please, with new paint, and a new slide complex where the existing wave pool is, 3 slides, a drop box, a Tornado 24, and a TornadoWAVE. Oh, and don't forget my Eagles, Ghoster Coaster, Phantom Theater, and don't forget the Antiques. I may want a purchase of the Cartoon Network "Hannah Barberra" cartoons, from the proper liscense distributor. Lastly, keep the monkeys far away from Kings Island, no one needs that monkey business.
  2. Most, if not all of the music played are what I know as "Mainstream", put in some indie! One major genre I want Kings Island to bring back is the 80's genre. So many great songs that many grew up with, and the modern day "teenager" would probably like some of the music from that era. BB1, Safe and Sound in the Land Down Under.
  3. .....Just give me a shop with tea, and good sandwiches, and I will be good.......... BB1, the target audience with a literal perception of the industry.
  4. D-Back takes the cake for largest attraction in the park, and the focal point of the walkway. The other sights one may see are as follows "big box -o-FUN", "Western Arcade -o- FUN", "Larosa's", Beast, and as well, a few logs with a restroom. BB1, still waiting on the Action Zone Re-theming to happen.
  5. Soak City will be celebrating a certain feat in age this year too........ BB1, an waterpark person
  6. Why are you worried about a date that is almost 6+ months away?! Thankfully schedules for KI should be finished in the weeks to come, I am looking forward to getting my schedule fixed soon!
  7. Thankfully so, some of the admirable properties of the establishment are the Christian beliefs and ideas.
  8. I like my Chick Fil-A tea, so I say no.
  9. The course? Half the cars were removed, but the course? Terp, who likes to ask questions If I am correct, which I believe I am, the CarnEvil attraction was once the PT course. I could be wrong, and communications on my part, on the course and the cars, but that is what I knew prior to the topic.
  10. Happy New Year everyone! (Or as one Jc would say " Sad New year") I hope that everyone is having a great new year, as I have. As 2014 comes, and 2013 dies, and thankfully is buried with the rest of the rides, not to mention topics, of the elder days, I can't help but think of what could happen in 2014. Fond memories splurge from last year's KIC Last Day event, and the Banshee walk through i got to experience, leading to thoughts (and thankfully no decoding) of 2014 events. That leads me to ask, what 2014 KIC Days/Events would you like to have/see?
  11. I like classic haunted houses, not the new found "lazer pointy things" that we see today. PT was special on the fact that it played like the Haunted Mansion, it was a spoof off of a scary idea towards the family. PT was a classic, that sadly I forget if I ever ventured into the place. Though, I do like lively props, not those of the wooden cut out kind. I have an certain liking to these attractions, I really do, but BBOBH just doesn't cut up to any kind to the classic. I do hope that with the nostalgic movement, and the more "hauntified" feeling to KI with 2014, our PT can return. With that, you also have to understand that BBOBH can never be in the same category, that is due to the course being half of what it was previously. BB1, looking at this engagement ring stuck in the ground.
  12. Just add in a little bit of lantana here and there, possibly a few marigolds for a summer flush of orange and yellow, or a purple and white mix of petunias or pansies. I too enjoy the floral clock, I do like botany, and the implications of botany at Kings Island. BB1, a gardener. (P.S., did I miss something about Rhonda?)
  13. Frisch's, I love Mountain Dew (Classic style of course) but seriously, my cherry Coke is what I need with my pumpkin pies. BB1, an displeased consumer who rarely frequents this establishment.
  14. To be honest, it was actually my first ride on Flight of Fear this year. The line was short, and there was no one in our train. I got to ride in the front seat, and it was just a blast, literally. The best part about it was that halfway through the course, at the first brake run, the lights turned on and showed off what the ride really looked like. I would go farther into my thoughts, but it would almost be an TR of the ride.
  15. What about the Beach? BB1, one of many who frequented an certain event.
  16. I'm attempting to understand your numbering here without success. I was tired, trying to post a few things at once, typo it was, and it is fixed.
  17. In no explicit order....... 1. Outlaw Run, hey, you used the exact video I am going to use! 2. Kentucky Kingdom, this is the opening of a new park! It is a great park because it has the tallest water slide in the region! 3. Gatekeeper, it is an iconic attraction at Cedar Point, and truly is a magnificent piece of machinery! 4. Six Flags/Cedar Point accidents, these were both very tragic and I had them both as my hopes for a good outcome. 5. Banshee, well, it's Banshee. 6. Goliath, this is going to be huge! 7. Viking Park, well, this is interesting http://coaster-net.com/news/2274-viking-sized-fun-to-hit-norway/ 8. Polercoaster, whee all the way up, whee all the way down! http://coaster-net.com/news/2272-tallest-coaster-to-hit-florida-in-2016/ 9. FanastyLand, a major revamp on all of the classics I remember 10. Seaworld Blackfish, this was just a odd movie about a odd subject.
  18. Now you see why I love donkeys/zonkeys!Thanks for your responce, and the other likes by other users, I hope you make it out soon!
  19. I already have the video series by Ken Ham about Creation, and I bought an Appologetics Bible from them long ago, sadly I did not buy anything.
  20. Ho Ho Ho, that is all I can hear now as I sit in my living room by the Christmas tree. Ornaments from Christmas olde adorn the tree, as I accept the end of the season. With this abrupt end, I can finally tell the tale of a certain BB1's journey through the Creation Museum's (New) Christmas Town. Arriving at 6, I was anticipating an exciting night of Christmas cheer as I entered the museum, a place I have not been to for over an year. The hall was decorated to the sights of dragons, or as the side boxes point out, the dinosaurs of the post flood era earth. Various histoires line the wall, from the Romans to the modern day American west, all pointing to how dinosaurs have lived with man for all of history. The most interesting topics for me were those of the Welch and the American West's lore of the Thunderbird. All of which was eclipsed by a sign with details of the Leviathan and the Behemoth, both found in the pages of the Old Testament(Torah as the Hebrews call it) in the Bible. This led out into the lobby, which had a sculpture of Mary and Joseph, and a sign advertising the new Ark Encounter, which to be frank sounds amazing with the amount of theme that AiG can put into the Creation Museum. After visiting the lobby, I went out into the event, first getting a free bag (Not to be confused with another site) that held information about the event, DVD, and etc. Which, of course went to the first part, the food area, where one can get hot cocoa or other snacks in the small pavilion. After having a moment to take in the place, I found myself next to a replica of the Ark's stables and levels, which was truly phenomenal. This was just only a taste of what to come with the next part of the trip, the Nativity scene. What a remarkable sight it was, it was a full out scene with people dressed in Jewish garb of that time, and animals by Mary and Joseph. This area was also where an "archaeologist" told people about the birth of Christ, and how literal it truly was. Of course, the one thing that drew me was the donkey, it was cute, and it was a perk to the experience. This led out to the gardens, filled with lights and sounds of zipliners zipping across the lake. If you ever have a chance to get to the Creation Museum, I highly suggest you come both during the summer and the Christmas times, because this place has such a diverse population of plants and lights that are truly a "must hit" sight. After wandering the gardens (Garden of Eden anyone?) for a time I began to retouch with civilisation with the picnic pavilions hosting a Magi scene. This basically told you about what the Magi, who were the wise men from afar, thought and what their reactions could have been. This wrapped up the outdoor nativity, which by far, if you want to know about Christ's birth, come to the Creation Museum because it is truly phenomenal and a great way to experience it. (Or go to a Christmas Eve service) Also, it has donkeys, and camels, and other animals, that is only a perk though! Which to be honest, the theme and people there were top notch in any theme aspect, better than the halloween events I have been to! Anyways back on topic, what visit is truly ever finished without a visit to the petting zoo? I was excited to finally go back to the place, after one year being away, it is truly amazing. Walking through I saw many animals, camel rides were available, a wallaby hopped in its pen, and goats stood up on their gates waiting for their food. Which, I have seen too many goats for that night. Then to the pinnacle of the night, the one animal I really came to see in the petting zoo. Now please note, if you think I like donkeys, I don't like them more than my favorite animal. The zonkey, yup, the zebra donkey hybrid caught my eye since day one at the Museum, and I have yet to forget them. They are interesting, and amazing due to that they have stripes, yet they are donkeys, truly an amazing creature in creation. Now leaving for another time, I ventured back into the gardens, where I then began to walk on the bridge, This is truly an amazing experience because you can be on the water, get great photos of the museum, and get an amazing view of the gardens. Now back to the banks, I ventured through the lights and got back to the Creation Museum causeway. Overall this is an amazing trip for any person interested in Christ, or loves the Christmas lights on display. I highly reccomend visiting the Creation Museum any time to see what they have to offer, and learn a little more on Creationism. Which even I, a devout Christian who studies the Creation material and finds support almost every day, find new information every time I get into the Creation Museum, which still amazes me at what you can find all across the world to support it. Thank you for reading my PTR, it was hard to sum up the whole event, and I hope you did enjoy it. Yes, this does mean the end of the use of donkeys in my posts, except on occasion, but that would be seldom. To those who visited the Holiday party, this is my Christmas Present, so consider it a gift. Photos to come soon!
  21. That is the thing, it seems as if the site isn't an family atmosphere any more, and yes a few are in this light. Remember how people were a tad bit annoyed about the donkey ordeal? The same people, and I repeat, the same people started talking about them again. Upon which, the same people are "diluting" in a sense the family values of KIC, due to these slurs and discussions of non-family values. The boxer thing was just a past comment to a past pun I have heard, that seemed i context. The joke itself was a pun off of what devarious was stating, upon which he said boxers, which I took as clothing, and the dog, at the same time. Yet somehow, when I can see blue, others see red. Now I will have to agree that it may have been uncalled for, the clothing comment, and I do apologize, but it is things like this on KIC that drive me up the wall. It is things like curses and these "adult" oriented conversations that make me feel like KIC isn't my home(occasionally). Like I have stated, KIC is a "family environment", but I feel like all of these comments are veering away from that premise and idea.
  22. I don't think you get my point here Terp. Confused to the fact that those who disliked it, re-birthed the concept. Clueless to what he is trying to state here, I do not see the key to the post he made. Was it to the confusion? If so, then he took that idea out of the context and twisted my words (Something I hate). To which, I also see that he has periods after the last statement, was he inferring to that idea? The post leads to a point of confusion and irrelevance, therefor to me, and I am not sure if somehow the rest have an inside joke of myself or what, it has no "statement" to the quoted text.
  23. What I am mainly here for is what I stated. News, and the community, both of which are interesting here. News comes often, which spur off debates and topics of the subject, and or my polls on what you think, or something else which shall not be named. As well the community here, sure, some of which I do not agree on (multiple levels, or as I call " I am on the wet side, you are on the dry side, go"), but that leads to great discussions, and as well leads to understanding on why one side thinks one way, and the other, vice versa. Though I will say this, the face of KIC has changed greatly from my first year here, and it has faced some of the most worst points in the history. (IE The Dark Time, BB1 got out of there when it happened[and still happy that I did!]!) Yet KIC still carried on and moved forward, going through fazes, and fads like no other. (Somehow I get off of the subject that shall not be named, and those who refuted such, came onto the idea without my intervention, strange) Now it is celebrating such and such anniversary, and still somehow gets some of the most interesting posts out there.
  24. I think we are going a bit far in our expectations here, Sure, paved walkways would be amazing, but I have a hard time believing this to even happen. Being from one of the oldest things I have ever heard "If it is old, and it works, use it", concrete works, so I find it hard to see it go. I do believe though that we may loose the center target that we have had for so long, and we may get a new revamped area. Possibly splitting the area into two sections like I have hypothesized so many times before. This can easily be done by splitting the area in two, everything from the Oktoberfest corridor, On-L, and on is the new area, and the Action Zone will be from the International Street corridor, Drop T, and over. This would be a equal fix to keep old, and new traditions thriving, which brings new life to the place.
  25. First before I begin, happy last week of the year, next week will be week I of 2014! As the year winds down, memories of the past resurface. Fond memories of KIC, fun and exciting memories flourish, which leads me to a question, that could almost have dual responces. KIC, what is it to you? A community? Or a news network for your park news?
