I remember back in Elementary School at a small place in the North of the South, where I was told to always capitalize names of things. Barney likes apples. The Beast likes people. BB1 likes Boomerang Bay. So on and so forth. What is being asked is Common Sense, nothing more, nothing less. In fact, Common Sense is also a book by Mr. Paine, great writer too. I instantly capitalize anything that has name sake in any case. I just move my pinky finger to the Caps Lock, click it, click a button, click it again. Take it for instance HTML coding, do you want to make a website? Pay close attention to your HTML coding, capitalize all the necessary codes, because if you don't, poof. Your website will not work.

Exactly, this is what I tell everyone I meet, these events aren't entitlements. The only reason we even get some, and probably more leaner events in 2013 was due to how we were a thriving community, putting a good light on Kings Island, and with excellent PR. Even then, we almost lost it, period point blank. How you might ask? One member screwed it all up. At least it was "forgiven", but it still goes to show you how any park, Cedar Point, Kings Island, you name it, can take away some of the events and perks that some take as if it was a divine right. I hope that KIC can improve, that is something I came back for, is improvement. Yet, you still cannot do one single thing, and almost joke about it, not once, but multiple times by multiple members? Come on Kings Island Central, let's just keep in the lines of common sense, and carry on. Now, back onto topic I must say this, I believe that a good idea for any kind of theming if possible is the old run down stone feel, with grass growing upon it. That would look spectacular, or possibly with Celtic flora around the station, almost resembling a small church garden.

I'm just here for the ride, I point out little things, talk about it, and carry on. Let's just keep calm, carry on, and not start a flame war. (Because frankly, I don't want to pick a side nor be in a war) Overall I'm impressed on how much has been achieved in the past months, and I can't wait to see the sod/theming down,I hope March, or possibly early April?

I like TOS, which I keep them to heart. Follow the TOS, Copyright(s), and or any other rule that has been slated for Trademark reasons. I'd suggest that, for that is something that many, like BB1, Interpreter, and others cherish. TOS doesn't like to be broken, because it breaks our hearts.

Similar to the 35th anniversary topic, this is the topic to celebrate the waterpark's 25th anniversary. So to celebrate this, here you can discuss the waterpark, memories, and post any photos you have spanning the three eras of the waterpark.

With both a laptop, and my phone, I have experienced the scroll bar going far above the regular scroll area, and far below the regular scroll area. This allows me to see the background, on both sides, but fixes soon after it has happened. (Some of this XHTML and HTML scripting really is picky)

Parking lot: The Ride.razmataz, who couldn't help himself. Oh gosh please no. BB1, who doesn't want pebbles in his sandals, nor the bumpy ride that would be a Intamin Pavement-Mobile, which would probably break down due to tires popping, or the pavement breaking.

For the community of coaster enthusiasts who are 6+ ft, I hope it will be comfortable, but with the reports already, I don't believe it will be an issue.

Some say they gave a bad name to the enthusiasts of the donkey, possibly the reason why such an animal is rarely discussed here. (and when it was, there was community "no" statements)

Does anyone know how many g's could be pulled on this? I was originally thinking about 3.6-4.0 at the max, and I can't find it anywhere.

To the Stone Henge idea: I veto for this, like the old idea has stated, having a full European area will do good for the park. Which, this can speak more to the super natural side of Europe. For those who do not know, Stone Henge is an old Anglo-Saxon site, with rumored excellent acoustics, and a pagan "temple" so to speak. To the yellow station piece: Probably wood or a tarp to insulate the roof.

From riding Beast's first ride, to riding Banshee in the first hour, everyone has a "must do" list for the opening day. So, as I begin to plan out what I need to do in the opening day, I thought it would be great for us to discuss what we are banking on during the day, possibly even to help out others unsure about what to do the day. What is your opening day must do list? 1. Banshee in the first hour of operation. 2. Ride FoF in the first 2 hours 3. Ride Beast twice 4. Ride Bat at least twice. 5. Take uber amounts of photos (Solo on photo taking, so I will be away from the group for a little while) 6. Take part in our "official un-official KIC meet up".

They have planned to add a "big" addition this year with Pipe Scream, and Lake Erie Eagles, ironically a huge addition to the eyes of Kings Island enthusiasts. (To some, it will probably be nick-named "Lake Erie Seagulls")

Personally, I think KK and KI can coexist. Heck, they did for years, even with Six Flags doing their best to fail. I can say that, as a Louisvillian, I liked KK (pre-Six Flags) because it was local, it had decent rides for its size, and I was there in 10 minutes. I can maybe make it to KI two or three times in a season if I plan it well. KI is an event for me. On the other hand, I can hit KK any given day, ride a few rides, hop back in the car and be at the zoo before the gates close. I consider that a good thing! From what I've read, nobody involved with KK has any delusions of beating KI. KI is a totally different beast (hyuck, hyuck). Don't be putting words in my mouth, I did not imply such. I am just presenting the logic in the web searches. I have hopes for KK, I really do, but I don't pick sides before opening date. I won't even make such an conclusion untill the end of the season, or at least near the end. Like I said, I'm not picking sides, but I will be frequenting the park and I have high hopes for its success, just use logos while discussing this subject, and try, for the sake of your ethos, don't take a side. I don't think you should assume that Kentucky Kingdom is attempting to compete with King's Island, especially since Hart has clearly stated that they will not. The two parks will have significant overlap--they always did--but, as I said, they don't necessarily attempt to meet the same needs. KK is a small, local amusement park whose demographic will be predominately locals and families who don't necessarily desire the Big Park experience. King's Island's demographic is...well, almost everybody. And if you look at KI's attendance during KK's operational years, there really is no "KK effect" there. Flip the script and you'll see that KK grew and maintained very respectable attendance up until the point when Six Flags decided to fail. This would suggest that these two parks have and will coexist peacefully. Now, KK vs. HW, there's where competition will be a factor. And I know the story of David and Goliath. Yet, I would like to point out that in some time, KK could become a force that could compete on a larger scale with KI. 3. It's not exactly a battle, per say, but a race, an competition that would be avoided, but I have a hard feeling of accepting it to be true. 4. I would like to point out a competition with Beech Bend and KK in the near future. 5. They are both in the same region, both have coasters, which, both of their demographics, at some point intersect which would cause a competition. KI has a thing for everyone, KK has a thing for everyone, it is just the utilization of these elements that set these parks apart.
