  1. To be honest, it was actually my first ride on Flight of Fear this year. The line was short, and there was no one in our train. I got to ride in the front seat, and it was just a blast, literally. The best part about it was that halfway through the course, at the first brake run, the lights turned on and showed off what the ride really looked like. I would go farther into my thoughts, but it would almost be an TR of the ride.
  2. What about the Beach? BB1, one of many who frequented an certain event.
  3. I'm attempting to understand your numbering here without success. I was tired, trying to post a few things at once, typo it was, and it is fixed.
  4. In no explicit order....... 1. Outlaw Run, hey, you used the exact video I am going to use! 2. Kentucky Kingdom, this is the opening of a new park! It is a great park because it has the tallest water slide in the region! 3. Gatekeeper, it is an iconic attraction at Cedar Point, and truly is a magnificent piece of machinery! 4. Six Flags/Cedar Point accidents, these were both very tragic and I had them both as my hopes for a good outcome. 5. Banshee, well, it's Banshee. 6. Goliath, this is going to be huge! 7. Viking Park, well, this is interesting http://coaster-net.com/news/2274-viking-sized-fun-to-hit-norway/ 8. Polercoaster, whee all the way up, whee all the way down! http://coaster-net.com/news/2272-tallest-coaster-to-hit-florida-in-2016/ 9. FanastyLand, a major revamp on all of the classics I remember 10. Seaworld Blackfish, this was just a odd movie about a odd subject.
  5. Now you see why I love donkeys/zonkeys!Thanks for your responce, and the other likes by other users, I hope you make it out soon!
  6. I already have the video series by Ken Ham about Creation, and I bought an Appologetics Bible from them long ago, sadly I did not buy anything.
  7. Ho Ho Ho, that is all I can hear now as I sit in my living room by the Christmas tree. Ornaments from Christmas olde adorn the tree, as I accept the end of the season. With this abrupt end, I can finally tell the tale of a certain BB1's journey through the Creation Museum's (New) Christmas Town. Arriving at 6, I was anticipating an exciting night of Christmas cheer as I entered the museum, a place I have not been to for over an year. The hall was decorated to the sights of dragons, or as the side boxes point out, the dinosaurs of the post flood era earth. Various histoires line the wall, from the Romans to the modern day American west, all pointing to how dinosaurs have lived with man for all of history. The most interesting topics for me were those of the Welch and the American West's lore of the Thunderbird. All of which was eclipsed by a sign with details of the Leviathan and the Behemoth, both found in the pages of the Old Testament(Torah as the Hebrews call it) in the Bible. This led out into the lobby, which had a sculpture of Mary and Joseph, and a sign advertising the new Ark Encounter, which to be frank sounds amazing with the amount of theme that AiG can put into the Creation Museum. After visiting the lobby, I went out into the event, first getting a free bag (Not to be confused with another site) that held information about the event, DVD, and etc. Which, of course went to the first part, the food area, where one can get hot cocoa or other snacks in the small pavilion. After having a moment to take in the place, I found myself next to a replica of the Ark's stables and levels, which was truly phenomenal. This was just only a taste of what to come with the next part of the trip, the Nativity scene. What a remarkable sight it was, it was a full out scene with people dressed in Jewish garb of that time, and animals by Mary and Joseph. This area was also where an "archaeologist" told people about the birth of Christ, and how literal it truly was. Of course, the one thing that drew me was the donkey, it was cute, and it was a perk to the experience. This led out to the gardens, filled with lights and sounds of zipliners zipping across the lake. If you ever have a chance to get to the Creation Museum, I highly suggest you come both during the summer and the Christmas times, because this place has such a diverse population of plants and lights that are truly a "must hit" sight. After wandering the gardens (Garden of Eden anyone?) for a time I began to retouch with civilisation with the picnic pavilions hosting a Magi scene. This basically told you about what the Magi, who were the wise men from afar, thought and what their reactions could have been. This wrapped up the outdoor nativity, which by far, if you want to know about Christ's birth, come to the Creation Museum because it is truly phenomenal and a great way to experience it. (Or go to a Christmas Eve service) Also, it has donkeys, and camels, and other animals, that is only a perk though! Which to be honest, the theme and people there were top notch in any theme aspect, better than the halloween events I have been to! Anyways back on topic, what visit is truly ever finished without a visit to the petting zoo? I was excited to finally go back to the place, after one year being away, it is truly amazing. Walking through I saw many animals, camel rides were available, a wallaby hopped in its pen, and goats stood up on their gates waiting for their food. Which, I have seen too many goats for that night. Then to the pinnacle of the night, the one animal I really came to see in the petting zoo. Now please note, if you think I like donkeys, I don't like them more than my favorite animal. The zonkey, yup, the zebra donkey hybrid caught my eye since day one at the Museum, and I have yet to forget them. They are interesting, and amazing due to that they have stripes, yet they are donkeys, truly an amazing creature in creation. Now leaving for another time, I ventured back into the gardens, where I then began to walk on the bridge, This is truly an amazing experience because you can be on the water, get great photos of the museum, and get an amazing view of the gardens. Now back to the banks, I ventured through the lights and got back to the Creation Museum causeway. Overall this is an amazing trip for any person interested in Christ, or loves the Christmas lights on display. I highly reccomend visiting the Creation Museum any time to see what they have to offer, and learn a little more on Creationism. Which even I, a devout Christian who studies the Creation material and finds support almost every day, find new information every time I get into the Creation Museum, which still amazes me at what you can find all across the world to support it. Thank you for reading my PTR, it was hard to sum up the whole event, and I hope you did enjoy it. Yes, this does mean the end of the use of donkeys in my posts, except on occasion, but that would be seldom. To those who visited the Holiday party, this is my Christmas Present, so consider it a gift. Photos to come soon!
  8. That is the thing, it seems as if the site isn't an family atmosphere any more, and yes a few are in this light. Remember how people were a tad bit annoyed about the donkey ordeal? The same people, and I repeat, the same people started talking about them again. Upon which, the same people are "diluting" in a sense the family values of KIC, due to these slurs and discussions of non-family values. The boxer thing was just a past comment to a past pun I have heard, that seemed i context. The joke itself was a pun off of what devarious was stating, upon which he said boxers, which I took as clothing, and the dog, at the same time. Yet somehow, when I can see blue, others see red. Now I will have to agree that it may have been uncalled for, the clothing comment, and I do apologize, but it is things like this on KIC that drive me up the wall. It is things like curses and these "adult" oriented conversations that make me feel like KIC isn't my home(occasionally). Like I have stated, KIC is a "family environment", but I feel like all of these comments are veering away from that premise and idea.
  9. I don't think you get my point here Terp. Confused to the fact that those who disliked it, re-birthed the concept. Clueless to what he is trying to state here, I do not see the key to the post he made. Was it to the confusion? If so, then he took that idea out of the context and twisted my words (Something I hate). To which, I also see that he has periods after the last statement, was he inferring to that idea? The post leads to a point of confusion and irrelevance, therefor to me, and I am not sure if somehow the rest have an inside joke of myself or what, it has no "statement" to the quoted text.
  10. What I am mainly here for is what I stated. News, and the community, both of which are interesting here. News comes often, which spur off debates and topics of the subject, and or my polls on what you think, or something else which shall not be named. As well the community here, sure, some of which I do not agree on (multiple levels, or as I call " I am on the wet side, you are on the dry side, go"), but that leads to great discussions, and as well leads to understanding on why one side thinks one way, and the other, vice versa. Though I will say this, the face of KIC has changed greatly from my first year here, and it has faced some of the most worst points in the history. (IE The Dark Time, BB1 got out of there when it happened[and still happy that I did!]!) Yet KIC still carried on and moved forward, going through fazes, and fads like no other. (Somehow I get off of the subject that shall not be named, and those who refuted such, came onto the idea without my intervention, strange) Now it is celebrating such and such anniversary, and still somehow gets some of the most interesting posts out there.
  11. I think we are going a bit far in our expectations here, Sure, paved walkways would be amazing, but I have a hard time believing this to even happen. Being from one of the oldest things I have ever heard "If it is old, and it works, use it", concrete works, so I find it hard to see it go. I do believe though that we may loose the center target that we have had for so long, and we may get a new revamped area. Possibly splitting the area into two sections like I have hypothesized so many times before. This can easily be done by splitting the area in two, everything from the Oktoberfest corridor, On-L, and on is the new area, and the Action Zone will be from the International Street corridor, Drop T, and over. This would be a equal fix to keep old, and new traditions thriving, which brings new life to the place.
  12. First before I begin, happy last week of the year, next week will be week I of 2014! As the year winds down, memories of the past resurface. Fond memories of KIC, fun and exciting memories flourish, which leads me to a question, that could almost have dual responces. KIC, what is it to you? A community? Or a news network for your park news?
  13. What in the... Word play devarious, word play is key to this point, boxer is a dual term in this subject. Crypt, I seriously do not get your post, whether you are agreeing or not, I have no clue.
  14. Although the puppy is cute, nothing can be cuter than my beagle.
  15. Kings Island is a tad bit too batty now in days, don't you think? BB1, not to be confused with Bat and Banshee 1.
  16. When a pun goes wrong. BB1, just punning around(Have some humor!)
  17. Wait what just happened? BB1, confused and contemplating the hipocracy of this site. (Family environment? Cursing sure is the answer!) I got mostly everything I wanted, except a tablet, but I did get my Doctor Who special.
  18. Sorry, BB1, who is a Doctor Who enthusiast, who will speak of this subject all day if applicable, right now I am discussing this magical dust that has just occurred. Also, please abide by the TOS, which states not to make a "one word post" applicable to this, as a "one word" by the gif, please add some sort of diction with some sort of syntax to this statement.
  19. You have long exciting discussions with friends about Doctor Who.
  20. I would hope that in an effort to sell Season Passes, that one could get cheaper "fast passes" i e half off, that way I wouldn't have to fork out an arm and an leg to get my queue lines quicker. I'm going to Kentucky Kingdom ASAP, I will probably be there the opening week or so of the Kentucky Kingdom.
  21. The little things are the big things in my eye. Just a little bit of theming here and there fits my bill, and if there is none, i through a cow (literally). To me, the most essential thing to any part is the little things, if there is a white stripe that is in a odd corner, I will find it and point it out. See paint chip? I usually find it first (which I have multiple times). Anyone notice the center circle's abrasion marks at the top left?
  22. Thanks Ohiocoasterman, you asked the exact questions I had! (Especially with the theming, I like theming, and when I have theming at my home park, that makes me happy) No worries on the mic batteries, I have had my own dilemmas when trying to get technology to work in these situations. (For BB1 had it happen on his first media day, and that was a special treat) I would like to see the scream occur at the top of the lift hill, possibly having some sort of celtic/olde english adventure type music playing up the lift and throughout the circuit, just a thought from BB1, the theme enthusiast.
  23. That would just be too much for me. I buy my day ticket, oh wait, I use my Gold Pass and I ride all of my favorite attractions at least twice, including the waterpark attractions.<which personally I am probably one of the few on KIC who really like the waterpark (Don't bend my words)> I hope that it won't have the FastLane("I bought my cut" lane), for that would make BB1 want to stay longer at his other 5 star attractions, or work in paradiso for that matter.
  24. KD already got their 2nd wave pool, and they got to keep WaterWorks. Kings Island, please for the love of my themed heart, take after KD in the 45th or at least the season after this, I want to see my old style returning with a ride I call Eagles and a taxi cab attraction. Oh and can I see a Phantom's Revenge come our way? BB1, who may go to KD for these themed premises.
