KICentral T-Shirt Poll
I am in between due to the fact that usually I can run in two sizes in two different brands and kinds of shirts. I would pick my choice in shirt size....for the right price.

New anything in 2013?
The same chances of that we may know how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop. The world may never know

Theming
Personally, I don't expect much theming out of Ouimet. Yes he came from a major themed company, but look at the past make over of the waterpark. I really don't see an exact theme to the place, still I am trying to figure out if it is a miami, Hawaii, or some retro inbetween of Down Under and Pacific rim island. If he was implementing theme, then I should of seen more tropical theme to the place and not just new paint, new neon and garden pipes, and new signs, like I have said before, tikis and other tropical themed items can go a long way in a waterpark. Now of course I am a waterpark enthusiast and probably one of the only people to see the minor details more than others, but some things can go a long way. (Details make the artwork) With that, can Mr. Ouimet implement theme into the parks of Cedar Fair? Of course, he has the correct background and right foot steps to become the theme maker of Cedar Fair, which coming from the past of Cedar Fair, theme is only needed at Haunt, and placed lightly where needed in other times. Now if he were to, what would I expect in the theme? Let's start on the park in general, I believe more theme will be placed into the park where needed and when it comes to happen, like the Action Zone renovation that may come in the near future(hoping!). Now to the rides, again it can placed when needed, and if the ride needs new theme it will be there. The rides will probably get more into a story line and probably have more backbone (theming) to the ride than the latter Cedar Fair.

New anything in 2013?
I would like a new wooden roller coaster yes, it does seem like wooden coasters are making a come back in the theme park industry. I believe that with Cedar Fair, we may just get a roller coaster, but the chances of a wooden coaster is 1-(insert how many kind of coasters there are here) now and I don't think any "Son of Beast 2.0" or "The Revenge of the Son of Beast" would come out from such company. Sorry stalin, your idea is beginning to stall, and it may become spam.

Disney Rides That Never Came To Fruition
I knew of some of these past rides, The Beastly Kingdom I believe from a few people at the park or a book I read in the past. I find it amusing how the Hollywood Tower Hotel still has guests dropping in.

Flashback Till Opening Day 2013
By far, out of all of the eras that have been around for that coaster, The Beastie era was one of the greatest personally, the tunnel just made me want to ride again, and again until I couldn't anymore, but sadly that era has long been gone from us, and I am personally wanting a return. BB1 who doesn't always like the color blue on coasters. Ironically if you think about it, in a way, The Beast has only one son now.

Kings Island Dreams
Well, today I will tell you all about a early spring dream that I had last night. It was the opening day, it was partly cloudy, but warm enough for shorts (Mid 60's-latter 70's I suppose). We began to go to The Beast, already in operation for the past ten minutes, we got on rather quickly. The Beast was all the same, but at one point not, the breaking area was not in function, instead it went through almost like a pre-lift hill SOB, and ran right under the station. We began to exit and notice a snoopy sign over the enterance, something about P&G. After we began to go around and see the sights, and then I woke up soon after. Why exactly did I have this dream? Probably due to me talking about it for a hour.

I like the selection on this page on post 75, I think it looks great for KIC.

Strange rumors you've heard
I have heard occasionally that BB1 likes Soak City.......I'll leave that for a fanboy to decide (BB1 does have fans ironically).

Strange rumors you've heard
Wait, the Dippin' Dots guy doesn't know everything? He said that we were going to have a BB 2.0 in 2014, BB1, a sad man. I have heard that there are ghosts at Kings Island, especially during September till October, it really heats up then supposedly.

Dollywood-Trip tips?
If and when I go, I will be referring to this more often. Although I do expect a foggy mountain breakdown, or is it smoky? With that, I would also like to go to the waterpark, I have heard that it is not that bad, and themed well.

Fast Lane "Plus" Comes to some of the Cedar Fair Parks
What is done, is done, what comes, comes, and we can only not buy the product if we don't like it, or do buy the product if one does like it. BB1 who is not going to rant about it, and just state the facts. We all get "good things" from CF once in awhile, some of us do hate it, but live with it, I know I have.

The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.
I would say that guest said one of the darnest things at KI..

Fast Lane "Plus" Comes to some of the Cedar Fair Parks
It's ironic how something that is intended for people to be happy about, makes people rant and angry.

The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.
Well, as I posted a wavepool ago, this is how I came to KIC. A few years ago I was marathoning on The Beast on ERT in the fall, in the last ride that I rode, a ride op asked me a question. " Are you (With my recollection he said this, but how can I look like him? I have no clue ladies and gents) Beastfan11 on KICentral?" I asked what and he repeated such, I said no, but this brung me to KIC to look, then came to a few years later. That ladies and gents, is the most ridiculous thing a ride op told me. A special note to you, thanks for showing me such a site. It has helped me in many ways and it really has been a pleasure posting and sharing things on this great site with you all.

Making A Coaster Run Faster
Easy, just grease it up, and make the track go straight down instead of doing the usual loop around, or you could just do what RCT3 does, drop the friction numbers manually, that works.

Geauga Lake land will be sold -- in pieces
I prefer to see Action Zone as being refurbished and re themed. There's a big chunk of cement in the park that's just not thrilling me. Place yourself some more concrete, block off a few paths, put in colored wood, and bright colored tubes, and you got yourself a Soak City.

Fast Lane "Plus" Comes to some of the Cedar Fair Parks
I'm not upset at you or anything like that - I'm just so tired of everything costing a buck when my income hasn't gone up in years! And I may get to the park if we have a meet-up. Can't ride any coasters, but that carousel is looking mighty fine! Or the train, that is a fun ride. I like trains (Which can be said about many on KIC, and on the Youtube)

Haunt Thoughts 2013
How would it really be wrong? The area would be like others in the park, in fact many kids (whom I knew) loved the fanatics of the skeletons every season.
-
Haunt Thoughts 2013
Maybe a good idea for the next up coming Haunt is a rollercoaster area themed to Haunt. Example: Diamondback field- skeleton scene/haunted area

Windseeker ride malfunction strands Knott's visitors
If you think about it, without the evacuation system, WindSeeker is a Tower of Terror..... Great to see the improvements coming to a few confirmed parks, I hope it comes to more.

Fast Lane "Plus" Comes to some of the Cedar Fair Parks
I'll just keep to my ERT on The Beast....

Kings Island in your image
Well, for me that is really a varied thing. Perfect Kings Island, a BB1 perspective. Coming upon the Island, you may notice the old sign that stood in the Paramount era, with a slight change to the KI skyline. There is no WindSeeker popping out of the scene, Diamondback is now gone, and SOB is there in working, non threatening condition. When you enter, you may notice that you may go one of two ways, Kings Island, or Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay, for now we will go left to the main park. As we venture through, we park at the usual Gold Pass parking, located right next to the inner walkway. After, we take a ride on the trams, which take us right up to the front gate. We enter to the music of International Street past, highly themed architecture from all around the world, with trees in "planters" in the middle of both sides of the walkway. A breeze of cold water hits you as you meander through the street, now we take a right to Hannah Barberra Land. The Phantom Theater is to our left now, with all of the classic rides of HB still running. As we make our way through, we make our way into Rivertown. Rivertown is a highly themed region of the west, with the KK ride up and running, as well as other favorites of today. A western show is performed at noon and five, featuring a shoot out and a few other western favorites. Swan lake still is the center focal point, a watering hole for the forest. The old walkway to The Beast is still up, with many trees surrounding us now, it is still upon a lake, which now is more cleaner, equiped with a filter. As we make our way through the area, we come upon the Antique Cars. Then we come into the region of Coney Mall. The Eagles still fly at this fine estate. We walk towards the Happy Days Diner, where it still is the Happy Days of yesterday. We walk by some of todays rides, as well as the red and white Racer, with the blue car going backwards once more. The X-Base now has a X-Files theme, with all the rides themed to as they were. After, we walk into Oktoberfest, where a German festival is always in season. The old german restaurant is here now, with a great biergarten over looking the lake. The Festhaus now has its clock back in working order, with inside a festive german show, and germanic foods for all the family. The fountain which was a planter now runs as a fully functional fountain, being a focal point of the area. Along with the old sign of Oktoberfest back in its original place. Adventure Express now has more ruins that it runs through and escapes. We are now entering the last area of the main park, the Action Zone. All of the rides are in the original names and paints. Top Gun now has more props and a new quene featuring more naval items. As we begin to walk out, we take the train to Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay. Which on the train, we find another western show. Upon entering the Bay, we are fully immersed into Australia with Crocodile Dundee. Which all of the rides are in the old conditions and are running smoothly. All of the old props are in their respected places, with the paths being in in sync.(Note, no bad theming here!) Now as we begin to wind down in the day, the Bay stays open, lit by tiki torches by the walkways, as well as paths. BB1, just sayin'
