The aforementioned snap. Found on KI's Snapchat Story. -

Again, I do not want them to tear down the Log Flume, see here Pg. 9 "Is there such thing as Team "You can build any rollercoaster you want but do not tear down the Train, WWC and the Log Flume"?" I am just simply stating that the New Millennium was over 15 years ago and rides and rollercoasters built or refurbished then are starting to age. -

I know it is sort of hard for everyone to realize that the New Millennium is that long ago, I was born in 1999 and even then it boggles my mind! I will hopefully be at KI this Friday, if I am, I will get some good pictures, I may even reride the train! -

Are there any other parks that do what Holiday World's "Goddess" does? -
Well no more Flying Eagles in X-Base, as we got those last year. I will now start the tedious process of re-reading for some hints on the future.

I saw it too, I wanted to screenshot and post it here but I did not know if that was allowed! They are just trolling with us.... for now. I would really hate to see the Log Flume go. -

Is it just weird I just now made the connection with the word snickering and a Snickers Bar? It makes so much sense now!!!! -

I personally am not on any team yet(except for the team that will not tear down anything, if there is such a thing!), there is not sufficient evidence to determine what it is yet, in a month or so, the choices will be much more narrower. -

Never judge a book by its cover. You never know what it could be. They could just as easily hype a flat ride as much as they can a roller coaster. When is the last time you have ever seen a theme park or amusement park start teasing this early for a flat ride addition??? -

It took me 30 minutes to think of it! -
Reading reviews on a Workplace Review Site, Glass Door about KI, I see a general theme from people in food service Serious Overhaul of Management should be required Overworked Almost no breaks(This one has got me curious) No morale https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Kings-Island-Reviews-E178894.htm (Note it is like other websites were you have to sign up to read the whole thing. ) Kings Island needs a SERIOUS overhall of its food operations. I think they were doing fairly good in the first years I had a Gold Pass, 2012-2013 but ever since then and especially 2015 and MOST especially this year, it has been getting worse and worse. They have good quality of food on non busy days but when it is busy, they sacrifice quality for quantity and even then they still have those outrageous lines!

I am very intrigued about what it could possibly be. Things That It Could Be(Strikethrough represents something that is not likely to happen, but could possibly.) Flat Ride(They would not be hyping this early for a flat ride) Giga Wooden Rollercoaster Dive Machine Launched Dark Ride Family Rollercoaster Floorless Stand Up Thats all I can think of so far.. This thread is in a really weird limbo period in that before we start seeing a lot of evidence of what it could be, but at the same time in speculation mode. -

We cannot rule anything out........ except if it is something they would not hype us this early about.... Chopping blocks? They are chopping up the wood in the Forest by WWC and Diamondback, but we are not looking at this as much in the bigger picture. I know this is been rumored for a long time and I hope that it is not true. Could rides that have lead a serviceable life be removed? Vortex is nearly 30 years old..... and if I remember correctly, Arrow has a 30 year average lifespan for their rides. If we pass that date and nothing happens, I will rejoice! Vortex is running fairly well this year, the best it has been in my opinion from when I have ridden it, 2011-present. However it is around the time we should get more and more aware of the age of every ride at KI. I know Loch Ness Monster, Corkscrew and others have been around longer. I am not rumoring it to be removed, I am just thinking out loud of all of the possibilities. The area around WWC is very interesting, I made a map a while ago in Project 2017 that looked like this I have thought about it more, and here is my revised version. Thoughts? -
Thanks for the comments! Thanks! I'll add a vote for Android. I need to hear this theory. (EDIT: I found it over in the Off-Topic section. ) Yeah, the theory, he made it up while Banshee was broken down. I even helped him with part of it after exiting Banshee! This trip report took me about 7 hours to write cumulatively, I am very glad that it has gotten a good response from everyone. I put a lot of effort into the report so thats why it feels like you are almost right there with me! I am now very much leaning Team Android. I hope if I go to KI 4/29, I will try to write a trip report as good as this one, it is very rare for me just to want to reread something I wrote over and over again.

Cedar Fair DOES allow rerides. I know this first hand. One 100 degree day in July 2012, when everybody was in Soak City or the water rides, I rode Flight Deck 12 times in a row. One rainy cold halloween night that same year I rode Diamondback three times in a row. I got off both because I wanted to ride something else. Season Passes are less money, but look at their insane parking prices! Cedar Fair from what I have been hearing may or may not want to bring back Winterfest to its Theme Parks, CGA is getting one this year.

The Beast Tunnel: Who Can Hear You?

A certain irrational exuberance? (crossthreadin' sort of kind of, I dont know. ) If humans acted rationally, almost everything would be great, but then there is pragmatic rationality and while that is good in some cases, it can become ruthless. I wish I could find that on ride photo of my first Beast ride, I know it is around here somewhere! -

A May announcement would be fairly boring and I would not feel as hyped for the next season by the end of that season as I would with a August/September announcement. Plus, that just gets rid of the fun part of new attractions, speculation! I believe Son of Beast was announced on May 11th, 1999 and look how that turned out. -

Sounds like a good idea, but will the announcer be able to make those words flow like they do currently? -
The Beast Tunnel: Who Can Hear You?

I have always wondered the keep seated part, I know they need to announce that for kids that could slip through the lap bars and stand up with ease, but for a guy my size, standing up is impossible! I did not attempt to ride The Beast on Opening Day but I will try the next time I am there, The Beast from what I have heard is more accommodative than The Racer. And now I know about the hands, arms and legs part, thank you Magenta_Lizard for being my example in the future to definitely keep my arms down in the helix. It is almost impossible for me to hear anyone on The Beast when going through the tunnel, the tunnels especially the second one and the helix ones have an almost deafening roar to it. I still remember my first Beast ride when I was 5 years old in 2005, I will never forget that! -
I would agree with all of those, except for the in park entertainment. Hollywood Nights in the Festhaus surprised me and as MDMC01 said "It was good and then it went to the next level!", Cedar Fair I think can learn from Six Flags about enforcing rules and putting more investment in its parks instead of the current system. Part time employees may need to be added to that list, also.
