Dang, I was on vacation for Cedar Point's announcement last year and now I'll be on vacation for this announcement.

Well you must be somewhat young because Cedar Point has had a few, most notable the Eathquake and Pirate Ride.

It's interesting to take a step back and realize it's almost August and we know practically nothing about this project. There's usually something out there that would lend a legit ament clue.

I think if I were you and I heard that, I'd do a little research to see if it did happen. I wouldn't go around saying a maintenance worker fell to his death unless I know it did happen.

The only thing I can think of is that it doesn't have anti rollbacks. I've only ridden it once because its a very mediocre ride so I haven't really seen the lift hill.

This is just not the year for Cedar Point. First Snake River Falls, then the Millenium and Gatekeeper incidents, then the cable snapping on SkyHawk and now this.

Are you talking about the Cedars Dorms? Those seem the most likely to be gone. There's rumors of them moving Perimeter Road and totally expanding the park out that way. Cedar Point is not running out of space. People have thought that for decades. They will continue to innovate with the space they have, like they've been doing.

I don't pay attention to those signs. I can determine the wait of the line by looking at it myself.

Althought Mr. Ouimet is interested in moving the Cedar Point downs off the peninsula so that may actually happen.

I think there's a good chance for a dark ride in 2014, if not, defiantly 2015. As TTD said, I'd expect it in the old Pirate Ride building or the Ball Room. I'm leaning towards the latter because they could really incorporate that with either Planet Snoopy or Kiddy Kingdom. Although I think it'll all become one big Planet Snoopy in the next couple years anyway.

I highly doubt it. And when I say I highly doubt it, I mean no.

1. If a looping hyper didn't work, a looping Giga won't work. 2. B&M strata? Pinch me when another strata is ever built. 3. No one ever said the ride is going to take up all of SOB, besides, I'm sure a Giga would cost more than invert.

I think they'll remain just because there's no point in removing them. They're doing no harm and IMO, look kinda cool.

Why can't they use both pools?

When does this show go through? I'm going the second week of August and don't want to miss it!

Well that confirms where the station is going. Has anyone noticed that or is that old news and I missed it?

They don't usually trademark their Haunts. As a matter of fact, I don't think a single one is trademarked.

I wouldn't be surprised if this project is announced during BeastBuzz. (A CoasterBuzz event on August 10)

So this gets me wondering, what's the thought process when it comes to capitalizing your words?

From what I've heard, Gatekeeper was all Mr. Ouimet. I believe I heard in an interview that Dick had a Wing Coaster planned but it was in a different section of the park, presumably near Raptor and Blue Streak.
