  1. If anyone has ever been to Blizzard Beach, you'll know they have the worst layout, IMO. Although the lazy river does take you from slide to slide.
  2. That might be how cars are tested these days, but I don't think the attraction will be even close to as much fun as it was before. The barrier testing room has really be downgraded.
  3. It's name should be Tron Track. I might be one of the only ones that liked the warehouse feel, it felt like a Test Track. I don't really know what to make of it now. I think it's going to be a great attraction, but its no longer a Test Track. It's just a design a car attraction where you run the course with nice graphics. IMO, its boring and in some parts corny. What even is the testing chamber where you went through the heat and cooling tests? I miss that.
  4. a POV of the New Test Track. I know the video can never show how good a ride really is, but I think I like the old Test Track better. The new one seems way to busy.
  5. Great photo update on PointBuzz! http://pointbuzz.com/Photos/Gallery.aspx?id=717
  6. That map is from when Planet Snoopy originally opened.
  7. My family on the Eiffel Tower and my mom telling me an accident happened in that circle area. First visit to Kings Island was 2006, about a month after it happened. Never got to rode it. That was probably the busiest I have ever seen a park, it was bring a friend for free day. Never again will I make that mistake again.
  8. They messaged me to. I just ignored it, knowing its spam.
  9. I'm not a fan of Arrow at all. I only like Magnum and Iron Dragon. I have trouble getting into their other coasters, especially the looping ones. I could see Arrow coasters leaving smaller parks like Valleyfair and Michigan's Adventure because its not worth the maintenance when they only run one train anyway. The parts from the smaller parks will go to parks like Cedar Point and Kings Island to maintain theirs.
  10. Well if Dick was still in office it wouldn't be allowed because it would take away the Longest Steel roller coaster in North America record away from Millennium
  11. That coaster is really really long.
  12. I don't know why but this project reminds a lot of Six Flags Magic Mountain with Full Throttle, also known as YOLOcoaster. This is a good piece of land that has alot of elevation changes, similar to SFMM. I'm excited to see what comes, I still don't think it's going to be a Giga and I shake my head whenever I see someone say it will be.
  13. According to the second source, "Cedar Fair is trying to sell of their properties." Hmmm
  14. I'll take airtime (not sure if that's positive or negative Gs) over inversions any day. Inversions don't do it for me, I love a long light drop like Millennium. Nothing bears that feeling of facing down falling out of your seat. Skyhawk is the perfect ride for that.
  15. I've heard it reported a few times from people involved with the park over on PointBuzz.
  16. 0 for Kings Island, 8 for Cedar Point. Slow year for me, we also went to Disney.
  17. Screamscape has a good collection of videos, http://www.screamscape.com/html/iaapa_2012.htm
  18. Nighthawk is much better than Firehawk. It's not as long and has a different ending but the scenery and atmosphere is much much better than Firehawks dirt. I thought it was a nice park when I went in 2011, getting a picture in front of the N. Carolina/S. Carolina sign is always a must. They also have this path way that has trees and branches that completely enclose it, I've never seen that before so I thought it was cool. Intimidator is very good but not as good as Diamondback.
  19. I could see Cedar Fair buying Great Wolf Lodge resorts. I think that would actually be good for the company. Now no one make fun of me, I've never been in one but is it something similar to Castaway Bay?
  20. No it never happened. It's true that they were testing it but nothing happened.
