Does anyone have an idea of a possible project percentage? Such as how much construction is complete? 10%? Higher? Lower?
-
Maybe you and your buddy Tom can both take 4 weeks off.

It had a part break that took awhile to replace, that's all I can remember.

Unfortunately for the first riders in 1979 and for I-don't-know how long, booster wheels are where trim breaks are now in that long straightaway. The Beast without trims now and maybe even with some would be MUCH faster than The Beast without trims way back then.

The Most Ridiculous Thing a Ride Operator has told you.
tuxedoman52 replied to Original's topic in Rumors
An Afterburn ride op kept asking me if I wanted to stay on (at this point I had already ridden 7 times in a row), and it would be the last ride of the day. OF COURSE I want to stay on[emoji2] -
Ah, FoF. My first inverting coaster. It too will always have a special place in my heart, and will always be my last ride of the year (with lights on of course!).

Why are you trolling in every single post? I bet this is some sort of social experiment. He's getting the responses he wants from us.

I'd start right from the bottom; try Flying ACE Aerial Chase. Then move up to more intense rides such as: Bat, Racer, Adventure Express, and Backlot Stunt Coaster. Once you're through those, move onto Invertigo, Flight of Fear, and Firehawk. If you're serious about riding bigger rides like FoF and Firehawk, then I'd recommend hitting those as soon as you get there as the lines can get pretty heavy. If you don't mind waiting, you can let yourself build up the courage to get to those two rides. Once you've conquered all of those, you can try the biggest rides such as: Vortex, Banshee, Diamondback, and The Beast. Hope this helps!

Six Flags would come in, add 3 coasters in a year, then sell the park and leave them in a nightmare financially.

Decoding Episode 2.5: BONUS ROUND! Second Announcement!

What about a cat-themed B&M Floorless Coaster that uses SOB's old station and goes in between The Bat and Banshee? Very very very unlikely but I can only dream. -

I believe that was only for press. The general public is welcome to just show up and watch. That makes a TON of sense. I would hope you wouldn't have to RSVP if you're just part of the GP. Thanks! -

Is the email to RSVP don.Helbig@visitkingsisland.com, or donhelbig@visitkingsisland.com? -
It's definitely up there in my all-time favorite rides. I'd say it's tied with Afterburn, though the two are different types of inverts. Afterburn is more intense, but Banshee has GIANT inversions that seem to take forever to get through. Each time I ride Banshee, I'm guaranteed to have a smile on my face when we hit the final brake run.

If you're talking official roller coasters here, which yes I know that wasn't specified, I'd say the Little Bill coaster or Pumpkin whatever...

Lumberbeast anyone? No? Didn't think so. -
Excluding Banshee on opening day 2014, mine has to be about 90 minutes for Firehawk. I'm not one to stand in long lines.

Does age change the amount of times you ride a ride in a row?
tuxedoman52 replied to Mr. Coastermania's topic in Kings Island
As everyone gets older, bodies naturally are breaking down slowly. It makes sense if you can't bare to ride a ride, especially The Beast, 10 times in a row. I'm 15 and I'm pretty sure I couldn't do that . -

By the RARE chance this coaster were to interact with Beast, here's a possible position for it. -

I wouldn't want another inversion-packed roller coaster as we just received Banshee a couple years back. But I would love something with that height and speed but maybe two or three inversions, like Maverick. -

Yep, I meant the restraints found on Diamondback, Fury 325, Intimidator, and Leviathan, for example. -

I think it would be exciting to see B&M attempt a compact, intense roller coaster. My hope would be a couple of inversions, but I would also want the B&M clam-shell restraints. I don't know if it would be in B&M's best interest to have inversions on a coaster with clam-shells, but I'd really love that. -

All I was saying is there was a reason for Banshee's line being shorter. However, it doesn't mean that no one rode Banshee. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

While that's completely true, rides doesn't mean anything compared to the line. Not once was Banshee completely empty. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk -

Going back up to what was said earlier, I believe Banshee doesn't attract as many guests as other rides because of it's intense look, plus the fact that some people don't like going upside-down.
