If you think about it......The last person may have not even known that they were the last person that rode Son of Beast.....

I truthfully didn't even know that they sold those......

n my opinion, The Boss is a great wooden roller coaster, I haven't got the chance to ride it this year but I rode it last year a few times and once in 2010

I just meant looking at pictures of it coming down reminds me of when it was going up and seeing the proccess in reverse.

Just like watching Son of Beast's construction in reverse.....

Maybe now Kings Island will change the area to a dedication to their lost rides...... Son of Beast, Screamin Demon, The Bat, Flying Eagles, The Crypt, Etc.

Last time I was at Great Adventure I didn't happen to see an Eiffel Tower.....I guess I must have just missed it or something. I'll be sure to check next time I go.

There may be an announcement for 2013, As Cedar Fair did say that they would be make the rest of there announcements in October.

They don't seem to have a problem with the webcams they have already... Then explain to me why the Soak City cam is pointed in a direction that effectively renders it useless. Soak City's webcam was facing Soak City up until the very last day of SC operation and then they pointed it downwards facing the slides......Which isn't doing them much good now but.....

KIC isn't an appropriate way to ask the park anything. You aren't the first person to ask about this here, and I'm sure the park has been asked in various ways such as email and Twitter. Offhand, I would guess that the park prefers pointing their webcams at more positive things. More positive? Kings Island posted pictures of Son of Beast being demolished on there own website......And further park expansion is usually a positive thing....

My question is this: If they are advertising the demolition of their biggest wooden roller coaster via social media, why not have a webcam on their main site? Someone should E-Mail the park about installing a Son of Beast demolition webcam or maybe we should just ask KI using KIC about the webcam......

I sure hope they do....Because I would like to see the different parts of the ride as they come down

Ok... your going to replace the first rollercoaster of Kings Island?!? D': It was featured at the grand opening of the amusment park in 1972 and inspired similar designs in other roller coasters around the world! I think that American Eagle would be nice in the spot of Racer or another roller coaster we could replace The Racer with is Gemini at Cedar Point.......I still don't really like the idea of etting rid of The Racer though.....Like Original said, It is an iconic roller coaster that is known worldwide and plays a major part in roller coaster history.

^ I like the pictures, escpecially the bottom one that shows the loop to the left of the station.

I really like Dominator at Kings Dominion and would love to have it at Kings Island.

I think my 2 favorite pieces of Kings Island mem. are my Son of Beast scale replica model, and my Very old 79' BEAST mug.

I made the other topic to post pictures and only pictures of the removal of Son of Beast, they may be similar but there is No reason to merge the 2 threads because they were obviously made for 2 different purposes.

It was pretty cool to see Diamondback enter the Kings Island skyline it has forever changed the skyline in a good way.

I can see something possibly being done with it in the next 6-7 years....Maybe.....10 years.....

I hope they don't get rid of Cinnabon. I really enjoyed those Cinnamon Buns

It depends on what angle your looking at the skyline.......So Yes The Beast is/can be a part of the skyline.

Speaking of Mack Rides...... This coaster looks like it would be very cool to see at Kings Island.
