  1. Their is a topic already existing. It is under poll. Please look before you post! Thanks, -Original
  2. That would be so cool. We went to CP today and we rode the and we rode the antique cars 4 times.
  3. KI needs somthing to stand out. And that could be it!
  4. Each time I've been in the waterpark this year, the new wave pool has seemed (at least to me) to be noticeably warmer compared to Coconut Cove or Splash River. That's a sign of the water being heated. If it was just because it was hot outside, the water in all of the attractions would be warm. Agree - at the old wave pool the water coming out of the bottom outlets was noticeably warmer than the pool many times, no reason the new pool couldn't have the same system. Would not surprise me at all if the pool itself was used to cool the wave-making machinery. That would account for the 'heating' and explain why it's not 'turned off' when it's dreadfully hot outside. I knew it! Well, at least some people agree.
  5. Mabey KI could make a new world record with the biggest loop!
  6. Never thought of it thaat way... That would be really cool!
  7. I like the screamin' demon.
  8. I rode disaster transport today. It was kind of boring but I really enjoyed it.

    The worst.

I know this is a negitive topic. But I just want to know. What was your worst experince at ki? (or cp)
  10. We went to ki on 4th of july weekend. It was so hot it was depressing. Of coarse we went to SC first. But The lines we REALLY bad. Plus, they heated the water in the wave pool. The only ride that was fu n was the lazy river (I know that isnt the name). It was ice cold. So we went to the dry park because we saw nobody in the parking lot over there. Once we got in.... it was so humid (we had to bring a sweat towel it was that bad with the humididty). But, we hit every ride in less than 5 min... exept white water canyon. There was a 3 hour wait for that. We got in line but left. We went over to Planet Snoopy and did their snoopy splash dance and we got soaked. Way more than WWC. We rode The Beast afterwards and it was cold! Great day all in all.
  11. When we go to a water park we reserve 2 chairs for the 4 of us. It works out better. Because if someone sees just a towel on 6 chairs in a row 99% sure someone is going to move it. I have never had a incedint with chairs. But I hate how people reserve 1 chair per family member. If they put more chairs out, then people will reserve more chairs. It is not an easy situation.

    Late Night

Once again 12:11 am. sigh, anybody out there? (echo effect) ha.
  13. Great Questions. No, you cannot share passes. They are wristbands. The crowds will probaly be well- crowded. I don't think the fast passes are good for you on this trip. Go sometime with your wife -alone. That way you can hit up all the rides you want and get your moneys worth. Good advice- If you REALLY want those passes wait untill you get there. Because you can determin how the crowds are. But more importantly... the more people you buy passes with they cheaper they get. When we went we grouped up with some people and got them cheaper by $10 apice- I think. Thats what we did when we bought them. If you dont understand send me a personal message!
  14. If you do NOT like long posts this is not the topic for you. It is intesting though. Just a heads up! Yes! I know that this is a late report, but I didnt even have a profile then. Okay, here we go... We decided to go to Cedar Point for forth of july (we live in north-eastern OH so it wasnt that long of a drive). We were going to go to the waterpark since it was really hot (110 f.). But with me being the amusment park fanatic in our family... I said that we should go to WildWater Kingdom. It is not crowded at ALL when I go to wwk, and with it being really hot plus it was forth of july. I thought CP's Soak City would be mobed. But of corse we went to CP's Soak City instead. So when we got there it was pretty nice (not crowded either!). First we put our stuff on a chair by the "water playground" my brother went on it for about 5 min. Then we all whent on Zoom Flume. It is a family raft ride. It was really fun. It is slightly diffrent than KI's Zoom Flume (previously snowy river?). This ones "sides" that the raft washes up on... where really steap I mean like the raft was at a 95 degree angle. Anyway.. afer the ride was over I rolled off the raft like backwords . And I knew the water was shallow but the life gaurd moved it when I fell off. When I fell off, my head hit the concreate really hard. So hard I herd a ding. No joke. I thought that was only on the cartoons! I didnt even know that could happen! Anyways after was walked up a coulple feet it really started to hurt. I am a very tough person. But this hurt. But I tried to suck it up really hard. My mom was walking behind me and she said my name real loud. I said "what"? She said "your head is bleeding"! I told her what happen then she started to get woried. Because you cant really put a bandage on your head like a normal cut. She called over her boyfreind and he looked woried. After a min. or two, we figured out that it was just my shoulder got scraped (but I still hit my head). So we walked to their dragster h20. I thought It would be alot bigger than Rendezvous Run at KI because In their grafic picture online looks so much bigger. And this one had 2 more lanes. But this one was little. Real small. It was about a 5 min. wait. When we got up there you could see some light in some of the lane/tubes, and others it was pitch black dark. Of coarse I picked the lane that you could see the most in. My moms bfreind was in the lane to the right of me. His was pich black dark and he has chlosterfobic. He was kind of nervous. He said "Wow. This is dark. I said "mine isnt!". He peered into my lane/tube. He looked away. Then he said "Mabey we should change lanes." I was so surprised. He is always the guy who is always being tough on me. Of coarse I took advanage of this moment (ha). I said (in a baby-ish voice) " "Aww, are you scared? You'll survive! Its just one loop. You want die!" I laughed then the light turned green and I gave him a wink and jumped into the tube. (I am not a mean kind of person but he is hard on me) And MAN it was fast! When we got to the bottom I said "Did you survive?" he just smiled. Then we headed to the tube slides. Thoses were fun. We went to the beach, then came back. We herd a noise like Mr.Roboto song. We couldnt here it all the way though. as we got closer to the park we noticed it was a warning from the national wethar service. It said that they had found a severe wethar storm to come. Most of the people were leaving. We went on thre lazy river. About halfway through the life guards where shooing us out because there was starting to be lightning. We got our stuff and walked out to the parking lot. Right when we got in my moms boyfreinds car. We left the SC parking lot. We headed down the road and stoped at taco bell. We went through the drive thru and we ate in the parking lot to figure out a plan. We did not want to miss out on the fireworks. The clouds were still grey. It was about 7:45 and we headed back to CP. (It is dark outside) We got a great parking spot we headed in. You could here the raptor running to dry off. None of the rides had riders on them exept the merry-go-roung. And since it was right there, in the front we did it. After that we headed over to the racing horses, those we fun too. After that we did the old cars. I havent riden them since I was 7. I knew you drove them, but I didnt relize they were real. So I was surpsised about that. After that we went to the bumper cars and that was the only ride of the night that we had o wait on. Not surprised thhough. On the ride my car I could only make it go backwards (weird). Then we went on the matterhorn. After that I wanted yto go o n the ferris wheel, but my brother wanted to go on "the fancy old cars". So My mom was going to go with my younger brother to the cars and my moms boyfrind was taking me to the ferris wheel. About half way there they said they wanted to come with us instead. The fireworks were supposed to start at 10:00. But were pushed back to 11:30. So it was about 11:25. We went around twice. Then stopped at 9 o'clock. We were all excited because we thought if we were lucky enough we could see the fireworks at the top. About a minuet later we moved as we approched 12 o'clock the fireworks started. At the top we kept going but we were SO close to them! They were shooting them off right behind Disastor transport on the shore. Then we stoped at 3 o'clock Disator transport was in the way so we could only see the top of them. 1 min later we circled around and guess what... we stoped dead center at the top. The fireworks were 20 min. long. A handicaped guy was getting on while we were sitting on the top. So we got to stay there for the next 10 min. By the end of the show we got off and saw the grand finale about 900 ft. away. SO cool! All in all, a awesome day. Very sorry about the long post but it was a good one!
  15. I guess we KI fanatics are so eager for somthing new to happen at KI (new ride or somthing to come) that this is really all we can talk about. The broken ones.
  16. Yeah. Exactly what I didnt want to happen. Drop Tower is my least favorite ride.
  17. [Curse of The Crypt(?) - Those that have attended Haunt since its FearFests. inception in 2000 should remember an oldie called Curse of the Crypt, a mash-up of vampires, werewolves, and mummies in an ancient tomb. The interiors of The Crypt ride were extremely detailed (more so than even the likes of Urgent Scare or Wolf Pack) and ripe with darkened corridors and an already dismal environment. It would be a crime not to use what's already there; the only issue is if they would be able to carry the same attention to detail to the rest of the attraction. I herd that they were turning the crypt into a haunted house.

    Late Night

Notice: I was up at 1 in the morning when I posted this.
  20. Yeah... SOB's time has passed.... even though it looks really cool. (My opinion!) I 100% put Backlot in Action Zone. And take Thunder Alley out. I really dislike it. It seems so pointless to me. What I would like is a race track that is new, non-snoopy related, and is not a basic shape . Somthing with hills, or that gose up..... that would be neat.

  22. Oh my god...I know what strickters grove is. I think it is that white roller coaster that is near ross (?). Im sorry I dont live in Cincinnati. So I dont know the area to well.... But I think that is where my mom&dad met. But wait.... One of my moms sisters (sharon) took my mom there. She intoduced one of her freinds (marty) to my mom. Marty was the best freind of my dad. So that is how my mom&dad met there. They got maried (2 yrs later?) not at strickters. Had 2 kids... and now guess what. 21 years later they got divorced (last may). WOW. I finally know...
  23. So you're saying that we have racing wave pools? I never thought of it that way. I get what the interpreter is saying. But.... Longlivethesmurfride just pounded him. Why did they put them side by side? Mabey they wanted to use the area... off the top of my head, I dont know where else they would of put it. BUT! I always thought it would be so cool it they put another mondo monsoon on the oppisant side and paint it pink and green (oppisant of blue and orange?). So that the two funnels faced each other.
  24. Great photos! Although I dont know what strickters is... it looks like a cute place. I will reserch it.
