  1. I'm wondering why it's taking so long for the park to announce what's coming in 2018. If it was a new restaurant, I feel like they would have announced it already which leads me to believe that it might be something else.
  2. Cedar Point also has one http://www.cpamericasrollercoast.com/attitudes.html
  3. I made a very crude rendering for the possible location for this ride since the story says the slime leaked from Flight of Fear.
  4. I was thinking of this for a bit since the regular operating season is over A giga (duh) The return of the antique cars Some newer flats X-Base expansion Something done with The Bat que (personal preference) A new dark ride, hopefully in the form of a coaster (refer to my post above) The space surrounding BLSC utilized TLC to Racer I know not every thing I listed would happen but I think doing at least 3 of those things would benefit the park.
  5. I'm not being that guy but there's a whole thread dedicated to just Vortex
  6. I'm not saying that those are reliable sources but they make more sense than from the dippin dots guy. I feel like it's got to be pretty boring to be a DA employee and hard for a security guard. The DA employee barely sees any people and the security guard has to patrol that whole wooded area. During Haunt, there were tons of teens going under the rope and into the woods.
  7. I personally want to see a ground up hybrid. All RMC hybrids have been rehabs so I'd love to see what a ground up hybrid would look like. Then again Id really love to see a wooden coaster like Goliath come to the park except way longer
  8. I've heard Dominator isn't as good as other B&M floorless coasters, thoughts? I'm kinda happy we got Firehawk, even though its a short ride and inferior to B&M flyers, its more unique. If it went to KI, I feel like Dominator would "dominate" Vortex's ridership. I'd rather see a floorless Dive Machine at KI.
  9. If a RMC were to come to KI, what kind would you want? I included S&S Free Spins because their track is manufactured by RMC. If you selected "Rehab" say which ride you want rehabed.
  10. A new restaurant would be a great fit since its a short walk from the Festhaus, which is always too crowded IMO. I just hope its more like the Island Smokehouse as opposed to the Reds Hall of Fame Bar and Grille.
  11. I don't know if they'd have a whole new restaurant ready for Winterfest
  12. I feel like it's going to be a social media announcement for a new restaurant.
  13. It would be absolutely awesome if the park took that idea and went with it, or any park for that matter!
  14. In 1996, a unidentified flying object landed right inside Kings Island's grounds. The government responded and decided to keep it a secret encasing it in a building away from the public's eye. While scientists were tampering with the UFO's exterior, a radioactive slime started to leak out and spread all throughout the area known as "X-Base." The park tried to contain the hazardous material by dumping it in a pit but something unthinkable happened. A steel machine, powered purely on radiation, emerged from the slime and started to take the shape of a roller coaster. The park's trying to keep the situation quiet but you want answers and the only way to find out is to ride.
  15. A benefit to this layout, besides uniqueness, is that more than one train can be operating at a time. One train can be on the lower-half of the ride heading back to the station while the other can train can be already at the top of the ride about to drop and another can be waiting to go up on the elevator. Consider the second elevator a mid-course break run for this ride. I also just thought of this, the second elevator could double as a drop track.
  16. I found this concept online. I would fit in a park like Dollywood or even Knott's quite nicely https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/you-ready-something-new-patrick-mcgarvey
  17. I'm don't like how everyone just jumps to a name right away. Cedar Fair had the name Stratosaur trademarked for a bit and never used it. I'm personally not a fan of the name "gigasaur" and I don't know why people jump to conclusions that that's the definite name of a possible giga.
  18. Cedar Fair has actually been late on the whole winter attraction. Both Busch Gardens and Six Flags have consistently been having holiday celebrations. Knott's is the only exception.
  19. There are only 4 topper track models around the world as opposed to 10 I-Box models. RMC has yet to do a topper track re-track, meaning all all four coasters that currently have topper track have all been ground up. I'm wondering if RMC will ever convert a current wooden coaster to topper track to keep it a wooden coaster.
  20. @Hmrapp where exactly is your source that Carowinds backed out last minute on Centurion? It could have been a teaser. The name is still live on Cedar Fair's trademarks. It's a possibility that the name might go to another park, however it could also go to the possible conversion of Carowinds' Vortex.
  21. Add a 4d free fly coaster and name it Bavarian Beetle!
