Kings Island is charging well near an arm and a leg for food this year. I should have went for the season long dining pass. Also the single day $30 isn't too hateful I suppose. As for buying a single meal at retail price meal at either Hank's, The Chicken Shack, or any of the other food vendors: Forget about it! Since over half of the season is now over, it would be nice if they did a pro-rate on the season long dining pass; say 2/3 the original price or something? Edit: Red's Hall of Fame Grill might be the only reasonable single meal choice.

I rode Diamondback in pretty solid rain too; it made it walk on so I'm not complaining. Did you by chance ride Drop Tower right before 9pm?

We watched the same 7:00 show then. I was the first person to get the bike tire to the face lol.

Because of the rain, I ended up seeing Cirque Imagine again (twice in 4 days) My seat was in the front row closest to the aisle. I ended up being the first of one of the people that got the bike tire "close call" !! I was something of a bicycle stunter myself in my teenage days, so I have a certain appreciation for the skill that is exhibited. In my opinion, the bike act is the best part of the show,(awesome musical accompaniment) followed by ring girl. But there is not a dull moment in the show, and I really enjoy all of it. Also I'm jealous of the guy in the black jester costume as he is lucky to have a job with such appealing benefits As I heard a guest say: Cirque Imagine is a must see. I plan to watch it yet again this season still, the two shows I have seen thus far have varied also.

A perfect storm; these conditions are too tempting not to make the drive down there. (have to record World Cup) I will be wearing a lime green Banshee shirt, grey shoes with highlighter yellow and red, and a fanny pack. Folks being trapped in a Sky Tower for four hours is "just another reason" to never visit SeaWorld Parks? If you say so. But if you're in a boycotting mood, I know a parks chain that's logged probably a dozen stranded hours altogether on a series of Mondial flat rides that they purchased in bulk... then doubled their investment in the very next season! Which is why I will never go to Knott's Berry Farm for having those people stranded up so high for so long.

I have twice this season been offered someone else's locker, supposedly after they were done using it. DON'T FALL FOR THIS !!!! Why would I want a locker that someone else knows the combination to?? Paying a few bucks for the locker can be a whole heck of a lot cheaper than losing valuable items you have stored inside!

I saw Cirque Imagine for the first time on Thursday and it was sensational! It was the first time I saw a show at Kings Island since I got "slimed" on stage. I plan to watch Cirque Imagine at least one more time this season!

Kings Island's next major coaster installation is going to be a 300'+ (Giga) coaster. Look for it to open 2020, possibly under the name King Cobra. This is unofficial information, for now at least.

I have had more visits this year (8), than number of fanny packs I have spotted so far this season. On average, that's less than one per visit. Edit: It's like ever since jcgoble3 stopped rocking one, the popularity of the fanny pack fell off drastically.

When I see this confusion, it is universally involving rides that no longer exist, at least at that park.You can advertise it all you want, but the general public will believe what they want to believe. And given the way the media sensationalizes anything out of the ordinary that happens on a roller coaster (see current discussions about the two accidents today, regarding word choice in news articles, for a pair of examples), people will believe the worst.I'm guessing there will not be another major wooden coaster at Kings Island until at least the year 2030, maybe even 2050. When I first rode Banshee, I wondered to myself why I waited so long in between rides on King Cobra.

How am I a known Intamin fan all of a sudden? For liking StormRunner at Hersheypark? (the only other park that I have been to besides Kings Island, which I only happened to visit as a privilege of an all-star game I was fortunate to participate in.). That thing admittedly broke down twice while I was in line for it, but 3rd time proved a charm. When I did finally get the chance to ride it..impeccable! Other than that am I such an Intamin fan because I like the Eiffel Tower? (Although admittedly it is the scariest ride for me to be on at KI no joke.)
