I definately can't rule one out, just not the likeliest possibilty. They look like a whole mess of fun! I'd much prefer one of those than a dive machine, both seem to have smaller footprints. Expand on this.

One thing that comes to mind here about grass is that Intimidator 305 looked like this when it opened: But then again I don't know if this is at all relevant.

I have yet to see the grass for myself. Can you say without a doubt that grass seed was used here? A high resolution picture would be helpful here.

People we don't know with any certainty whether grass seed was even planted. One thing I noticed while doing my vegetable garden this year, is that once you work over and smooth out dirt, I provided the ideal conditions for not only my vegetables, but also weeds, trees, and grass.

Perhaps Cedar Fair's market research concluded more people watch movies on Friday as opposed to Saturday. Or it's just to bolster Friday attendance, since Saturday is already the busiest day of the week for them.

I don't believe it's that cut and dry. But then again I know nothing of constructing roller coasters.

I think there is room for a family fun ride next to Back Lot Stunt Coaster.

Why not a dive machine plus a new area? The new ride does not need to take up all of SoB old land. Try drawing up a dive machine and a new area so we can see what it would look like.

I don't for one moment believe this is going to be a dive coaster. A dive machine would be a welcome addition to say X-base, but otherwise not the best way to use the large plot of land that was occupied by SoB imo.
