What color would fit the name "Banshee"?
Coaster.Rider.Kings Island replied to Coaster Addict's topic in Kings Island
Dark green, Dark purple, and black. That would be an awesome color scheme for a name like Banshee. -

Wikipedia says that Full Throttle cost only $6,000,000. I would post a link, but I don't know how to. Edited for Grammar. -

It could be an Intamin impulse coaster like Wicked Twister at Cedar Point. Wicked Twister cost $9 million according to Wikipedia. So that puts an impulse coaster in the price range for Kentucky Kingdom. -
Welcome to KIC BEAST FAN 88. Maybe you could tell some more about what you heard and saw.

Non expensive eateries in Kings Island...
Coaster.Rider.Kings Island replied to lance99's topic in Kings Island
Nothing inside the park is CHEAP, if I wanted to really eat inside the park I would pick Rivertown Potato Works. -
Since I am 13 I always have someone, usually my parents, go with me, but when I get in the park I like to go off by myself. I like to ride whatever I want when I want. It's a fun way to meet new people, when you go alone.

Well they have LaRosa's which is a local pizza chain. The prices for LaRosa's aren't very cheap. I bought one a couple of weeks ago and it was like $23.00.They have Chick-fil-A, I've never tried it so I don't know about the prices. My favorite place to eat is Potato Works, In my opinion the one in Rivertown is the best. Don't forget to stop by Graeters for some blue ice cream.

After the announcement has been made I hope Im able to look back at many of your posts and say "OHHHH that's what was meant".lol I wish I knew what the ride will be. Someday I hope to have the knowledge of Terpy. I too will probably look back on many of his posts after the announcement and say OH thats what that meant.

Drop Tower, then Delirium.

Ususally in severe weather they just close the rides until the the thunderstorm passes.

Skip the chocolate chip cookies, I'll take my bag of Cheese Puffs.

I would LOVE to have something like that.

I think that Diamondback does fine with capacity, and When I am there the crew is really good.

I somehow deep inside of me want Kentucky Kingdom to reopen and thrive for many years to come, but in reality that is most likely not going to happen. Its almost time to say goodbye to the Kingdom. -
I am stiil hoping for 150-200ft. Invert with at least six inversions.
-
Banshee is a cool name. I think the name should give you a clue to what kind of ride you are going to have.
-
I thought I'd put my popcorn down for a minute and post a little somthing based on your post... Thought it would also be a good example just in case Kings Island did install an B&M inverted coaster for the 2014 season because OzIris is the newest B&M invert to date. (This does Not mean I think KI will get an Invert for 2014, I have not made my prediction, Yet.) If something like this were at Kings Island it might even make you scream like a Banshee! If KI's invert (yes, I can't help but believe that's what we're getting when you look at the parallel footers that have been put in place) is as nice, or nicer, than OzIris, then it will have been well worth the wait for us getting one. OzIris looks like a really cool ride I hope it's bigger though, with 6 inversions and a 150-200 ft. drop.

I would like to see a Verbolten type coaster in Flight Deck's spot if it was taken out.

Workers know about as much as we do.

I'm 13, 5'11, and 165lbs. I think on most rides the lap bar has to click at least twice, Mine usually goes back about 4 clicks. I don't really count but that is my best estimate.
-
I like to get in the 2nd or 3rd seat. I think those are the smoothest.
-
They probably are waiting until season passes go on sale for next year to announce the ride.

Diamondback has two helices. One after the 3rd hill and the other before the splashdown. I grey out on the first one usually.
