Hate to say it but this to me sounds like a CF way of making something more than it is..It's being announced on FB mid day. However, I could be wrong, CP did get Slingshot which was a pretty quiet launch. However, in the past, this tactic has worked well in the business, see Tony up at CP..makes something out of nothing..ALOT

Notes for what I've been seeing at the Banshee/Action Zone site today..watching the feed from DavidW's website 1. Circle getting alot of attention, lots of people working over there 2. Looked like digging or something going on around the carousel footer, not sure, at one point something looked spherical (came in like a wrecking ball maybe), but can't confirm, not enough pixels 3. Lot of vehicles (trucks) moving in and out. Not a normal, ok shift is over or lunch break, I mean there was a constant stream of traffic for a few hours going around the circle and whatnot. Not too sure if they had supplies, etc. but there was movement. 4. There is something green in the middle of the dive loop near where I guess the entrance of the ride will be, not sure what that's about 5. Boxes, stones, etc. placed outside of the Action Zone circle to the left as viewed, not sure what that's about

Ganna be hard to fight against someone who was there every day of the operating season with a camera

I went to Alonzo for the girls and when he went ballistic with some great jokes

It could be anything..a show, a food place, amenity, etc

They do low power tests where if coasts basically or barely dragged by the catchcar. There's a video somewhere of Monty Jasper talking about them testing dragster. Being the same design I expect the same procedures to test the ride.

Also sorry I probably caused your bandwidth to increase big time lol..let me know if I'm abusing your server And I like the site, it's been great help to watch it like a hawk. My only thing is on mobile by day three, scrolling down with a thumb is a pain in the ass haha, but nothing you can do to solve that.

They were testing yesterday, just not cycling the ride. They were moving trains back and forth from transfer to ready brake and possibly into the station but I couldn't see it.

We have one on base..35-50KTS (so anywhere from 40mph to I think 58) Good point too about the wind I didn't even think of that. With that being said right now yeah I doubt testing..For CP, direction and MPH determine our shutdowns, usually only a few rides go down for small wind, 20mph is the usual threshold for the rest, 35+ is practically a full shutdown for all rides affected by wind.

Yes first run, but after that they're going to want to add trains. Can't test anything else with one train op other than manual stops, etc. Can't test the blocking mechanisms with one train.

Yup..worksite covered in heavy fog, can't tell honestly, we will have to just watch. With rain conditions & falling temps I'm not sure about testing, or at least testing everything. I don't think they'd risk running it in three train op with rain on something brand new. However you can never be too sure.

Yeah either something is going on in the transfer table or they just went hot over there. Station is still dark, ah well Also notice, sign on On Location or whatever it may be possibly renamed is now lit up

Sorry to double post, again.. New lights are on inside Banshee's transfer table. Previous nights these lights have not been on, compared the past few days of night images to right now, so someone may still be at the ride location, I can't tell. Or lights are just now getting power, who knows. Soon everyone, soon

Last van of people on the site looks to have left..I think the site is clear for the day, no testing today, I'll keep an eye out

Few people walked around the brake run and the car parked by On Location, left the area, now some more transfer table movement.. I feel like a total creeper Actually more like:

I'm watching the cam from DavidW's captures which are usually one minute apart, the whole cycle isn't a minute I would have caught it by now. Looked to be they were moving the train back and forth on the transfer table, maybe even advancing to the station or moving it from the transfer table to the brake right before it. Can't verify but that's the only area of movement I could see
