Wouldn't that actually equal 39.95 not including parking? Last I checked fair admission was only valid for one day.
-
Edit: sorry for double post (for some reason edit function is not showing) the earliest post I can find referencing T3 closure was last Monday. I guess this week is just going by really slow for me.
-
From what I've heard it's been closed for a while. If not a month it seems like at least the greater part thereof. I know it's been AT LEAST 2 weeks, I would bet longer. Every time I check their Facebook page there is a post asking if T3 will be open today and the response is always. "T3 is currently undergoing scheduled maintence, for the most up to date information please check our page at www.xxxxxxxx.com". There hasn't been any word on when this "scheduled maintence" will be completed.
-
For scheduled maintence it sure seems to be taking a long time. What could be scheduled so early in this "new" rides lifetime that would sideline it for almost a month now?

The microphones there are some of the most unreliable I can think of. Off the top of my head just from last year there were times when Flying Dutchman, Roller Skater Thunder Run all had their mikes not working. Not to mention the Bella Musica which worked for a grand total of one day last year.

I doubt Club Blood will be going anywhere anytime soon. Not only does it require little to no work to prepare as it is permanently housed inside a building, But it is generally popular. Especially among the male populous.
-
On the dispatch times. No idea how they're doing this year as I no longer work for or have I visited that place. I do recall that when myself and other higher up employees ran Lightning Run during the fair last year, it seemed we were ready to go before the ride itself was 7/10 times as it would not allow a dispatch until the other train was entering the transfer area. But I do doubt the average crew is doing anywhere near that.

Well there we go. Stella RIP. Lola was apparently the better twin.
-
Back in 2010 Voyage at least screamed through the second part of the ride. Now it basically stops drastically reducing airtime from the double down tunnel (I guess that's what it's called). Can this ride still lay claim to all the airtime it did when it opened? My guess is no.

the Legend isn't the problem it's Voyage. That's the one that is rough to me and not enjoyable.
-
The Legend was a lot more enjoyable to me than the Voyage a few weeks ago. I don't know what it is with the Voyage but every time I do it some part of me hurts. Last time I remember it felt like it was vibrating my stomach to its limits like it was going to rip out (idk how). The time before that (circa 2010) I felt like I needed a spinal realignment from the nations best chiropractor, and I am Young! Rides never have that effect on me!

Those who know, dont tell, and those who dont know, tell. This employee was likely just promoted from the Dippin' Dots stand. In most cases this is true. But as far as this park goes I wouldn't be surprised if it was accurate. Whoever is in charge of the decision making of what gets added apparently has a hard time keeping it locked down... I knew about Cyclos, Skycatcher, and Up Up and Away long before they were officially announced. It may have had to do with my position in lower management of the ride department but still. Some employees may know.

Well, if they are doing something with the Twins, I hope both Stella and Lola survive the surgery and we don't lose one...
-
Well just in case anyone is going for a ride soon unit 5 and unit 9 guns on far left do not work. You are welcome.
-
After riding today, it seems I can withdraw my last statement. Tourist has broken yet again and on both of the times I went my normal gun spot (far left) did not work at all. I had to switch to the middle gun and manage to catch up to my opponent.
-
It could just be me. But my last ride on BBoBH was better than any other ride I have taken on it in the past 3 years. It seemed like a lot more things than normal were working (Help get away from me!) was running again. The guns aim and targets seemed to be working seamlessly. I scored over 2000 and my friend scored like 1500. Which is pretty difficult to do most of the time. I did notice the "his and her" ghost were still somewhat broken. But overall it was a good ride.

The sea lion trainers own that RV. They lived there all last year in case of medical emergency for the animals...

Accident on Alton Towers Smiler

It all depends on the type of restraint system/ manufacturer guidelines. For example: Thunder Run could accommodate 1 prosthetic hand and 1 leg. Lightning Run did not allow any prosthetic limbs due to the intensity and restraint design, it would all depend on the ride. -
Include local area Louisville stations I believe Wave 3

I read that meme in Mr. Hart's voice. It's more fun that way.

^ Don't forget mom!

Not sure but at $49? Whatever it is it seems like after parking (an $8 value) the pass would be worth it. Especially with the additional food and drink discounts.

I agree! However if it is found to have been a ride systems malfunction they are going to have a hard time finding a reason for keeping it. It at least seems that they do genuinely care about their guests safety with the whole park being closed until they figure out if they need to retrain operations or single in on the Smiler itself. And if their intentions are simply to keep guest from being nosy in the investigation they at least have a pretty good PR person trying to make the best out of this horrible situation. -

I see number 2 being possible. It should be noted that even in normal maintence mode. Blocks will still take precedence and not allow two trains in one block. For example when maintence worked on Mile High Falls if they were adding the second boat no matter how long they held onto lift enable the lift would not start until the previous boat was all the way into the station. The blocks would first have to be cleared before it would allow full manual control. -
It is "normal" for that water park. They did that last season as well except as the season went on and employees quit. The water park then did not have enough employees and this bad habit continued.
