  5. I know this is totally unrelated, but Sheikra is the featured article on Wikipedia today. Mer, just letting you know.
  6. No, CF would never allow that. Only CP can get record breakers. Why can't people get out of this mentality? Dick Kinzel is gone. What about Gatekeeper? I know it was their first coaster in quite a while, but still, they just had to get a record breaker. We'll see what Ouimet does though. I'm hoping he spreads the good rides around a little more.

  8. Ain't that the truth! I agree, they produce so many hyped coasters that are busts. Okay, then, I guess you wouldn't mind if they took down Diamonback. HEY! MOVE THAT CRANE OVER HERE!!! NO! DON'T HIT....that....oops...darnit
  9. Who's basing their predictions on footer shapes? You. And while Intamin may be pretty innovative, it's Bolliger and Mabilard that have invented the wing coaster, the floorless coaster, the inverted coaster, and basically rules the hyped coaster.
  10. It's not like your just shooting down other people's ideas or anything. I mean, everyone is entitled their own opinion, right? You seem very confident that its gonna be a b and m invert, which I have nothing against that idea, as I love their coasters and someday hope to work for them, but unless you have proof that its an invert, I think there's still a good chance it could be a giga, which would be awesome.Mer, just pointin' out. I never said Kings Island's new ride was a B&M inverted coaster. Show me where I said that. This is why I don't think it's an Intamin coaster: http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?/topic/27275-starting-to-decode-2014/?p=524912 Here's Intimidator 305's track support footings, notice how square the holes are compared to the track support footings of a B&M's and Kings Island's attraction? Goliath (B&M hyper) footings: Our footings are more like Goliath's than I-305's. Well, if you look at it, that's when i305 goes around a turn at high speed, so of course it's going to be different.

  13. Shouldn't you guys be talking about that in "kic meet ups"??
  14. Don't we all? Because then we would know what they're building!
  15. Love your profile picture. A7X is my favorite band.

  16. If they built this I would make the 10 hour drive to be there on opening day.
  17. Smiler at Alton Towers does this but its a sit down. I think the center of gravity on an invert makes it tougher. You'd have to have a significant drop out of the station to pull it off, There's a park on a mountain near Maggie valley nc, and it goes out of the station, down a hill and around a turn, then goes through a loop. The park is not open right now, but is reopening in 2014 I think.
  18. I think Carowinds already does. Maybe not, but I think they do.
  19. I know this is off-topic, but Screamscape just reported that they think Canada's Wonderland will get ANOTHER large coaster project for 2015. http://www.screamscape.com/html/canada_s_wonderland.htm
  20. I want one too. There's a better space for one at Carowinds, though.I've never been there but am hoping to make a trip before the end of summer (: I think something like maverick would be a nice fit alsoI have a season pass.
  21. Am I the only one who has a custom background, or is it just invisible to other users???

    1. ThatGuy11

      ThatGuy11

How do you do the custom background?

  22. I want one too. There's a better space for one at Carowinds, though.
  23. Yeah, they would definitely do that so that they could build "The worlds tallest, fastest, longest floorless coaster". It seems like they do that with all of their rides. THEY get the record-breakers, and all the other parks get mediocre coasters that are 20 years old! It's a conspiracy!
  24. Anyone seen this? http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=related&v=rD_AJ0P2OuI
  25. I guess afterburns fly too. Whatever those are.
