I like it better as well. The teasers that have been posted go well with the "Centurion" name.

The roller coaster at Carowinds will likely be called "Centurion", not Fury 325.

According to a new teaser at the park, the announcement date will be August 21st. And the "Rome wasn't built in a day" thing is apparently, according to someone with access to the future plans of the park, not referring just to the coaster... This is exciting.

Yeah Nick, I hear you...I sat next to this guy (18-early 20's) on the Intimidator who was riding with his parents and he spent a good portion of the ride shouting things like "f*** this s***!" I wanted to tell him to shut up but I decided against it. People these days...

Thought of another: people who feel the need (or maybe think it's "cool") to loudly curse repeatedly while on a ride (or in the que line).

People who say (this is at Carowinds but it applies to most parks), while waiting in line for, say, the Intimidator: "it has a 300 foot drop." I have to restrain myself from going, "NO IT DOESN'T YOU MORON", although that is a bit harsh for a non-coaster nerd...

The Carowinds webcam is also down. The text stating where it is is still there, reading "Harmony Hall," but the image isn't anywhere to be found.

I would vote for Carowinds (duh) but I don't want to be biased or anything, since I've never been to any other park. -Predictable Mer

Well for one thing, there doesn't appear to be any station or que line, so I doubt those people will be getting off this thing anytime soon...

There is a sudden burst of speculation on Carowinds Connection. If it is indeed Fury 325, that implies that it's 325' tall, which would make it the tallest traditional coaster in the world.

You misspelled "Hurler". FTW, only half-teasing and who picked an exceptionally unmemorable 150th coaster... Then again, I've never been THAT into B&M. Afterburn, however... Hurler's actually not that bad this season since they rebuilt the first turn after the drop.

No, not really; you most people just go clockwise through the park and hit the main rides. The must-rides are Intimidator and Afterburn. Ride those at all cost.

Ah...I am the person to ask; this is the fourth straight year I've gotten a season pass. Monday is usually a good day to go. As far as I know, no events. I will be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to mention that in trade for Hurler and Vortex, we get Flight of Fear and Bat.And might as well throw in the Eiffel Tower as a spare for if and when the Skytower ever needs to be replaced.
