That second image is from the (what I think is fake) Bat page from earlier this week.

I fail to see how that confirms anything. The Bat page was taken down soon after being discovered as well. And you know the picture we just saw wasn't for sure because...? The Kings Island PR department is a tricky bunch. My point still stands. Because this image had to be uncovered by someone with good coding knowledge, this was way deeper than The Bat page. That was clearly meant to be found. KI could never expect someone to find this image...

True, but longest Invert is more marketable than tallest and fastest closed-circuit Invert. I'm still hoping for it being taller than Alpengeist, but shorter than Wicked Twister.

Have you been here? It will break the record for longest, and not for height. We can't rule out other records yet, who knows, this could still be over 200'.

What do you guys think of the idea of retheming Flight Deck to Bat next year? I think that would compliment Banshee very well IMO, to have 2 "darker" coasters in the back corner of the park!

^ Yeah I think you're lucky if it even comes to half the length of Steel Dragon 2000 (8133 ft). Pyrenees is the current longest Invert at 4048 ft.

How do you 100% know the drawings are accurate?It should also be noted companies like B&M are always coming up with new concepts which we have never seen yet. Because they have an Engineering stamp on them. And because they were found in the City Office. Of course they are, and maybe that was a bad point by me, but I lowers they likeliness a whole lot when we've never seen any proof of that concept existing... the plans are real, there are to many copies to be a fake. - in my head it goes like this.... WLWT pulled the plans from the city of mason, the day after the announcement date was set. They called KI for a statement, which was declined. The decision was made to release the plans before the news. done and done. another set of plans that showed up today or yesterday, looks to show the "glide path" of the trains. While i am firmly rooted on hoping for a wing coaster, i have to admit the looking at these new plans puts a damper on that there are several areas that just dosent look like it would allow a wide wing thru. Definitely an invert, probably not a wing. trying to stay positive. from a reliability standpoint, i almost hope for something tested and true like a good Invert. New technologies, unproven, irl, break a lot. e.g. The Bat, or that cloudgroper thing Yeah I understand. The glider path you see is the rider + train envelope (or the maximum space around the track that they legally must have to be considered safe), and that is what one looks like for an Inverted train. I'm not sure if you've ever been on a Wing Coaster. But in general, I find Inverts a ton more forceful, and a lot more comfortable. While I do like the look of them, they don't deliver as good of a ride. Take my opinion as you will. I'm not trying to argue or flame, just point out my reasons for thinking what I do. The forces would be un-noticeably different. The ride design would be slightly altered and would most likely feel identical to a normal Wing Coaster. Since the plans are out, its no contest. I can read plans too. the footers seem, to me anyway, a bit wide for a std invert, especially in the loops. Okay calm down.

An engineering stamp just proves of when the plans were received, it does not mean the plans are accurate.City/ County offices receive many prints on a daily basis. A stamp is then applied to the print. Prints are changed often. Are the prints accurate? We will all find out tomorrow. Yes I know all of this. I'm not saying that these are 100% the most up-to-date plans. But changing a coaster style from Invert to whatever will take a lot more than a simple RFI and CO. While I do agree an inverted wing would be the same experience as a normal wing, I find it interesting you can absolutely 100% guarantee it will not happen.There are only a handful (maybe less) here that know what the ride actually is. Everyone else is still decoding. What makes you so sure? The overwhelming evidence such as the drawings which show it as an Invert. And the Invert supports which match the drawing. Those drawings show no accommodation to this supposed Inverted Wing Coaster. There is no evidence of B&M using that concept anywhere. Look at my previous posts, which explains my thought process clearer. There's no need to decode when we have all the evidence right in front of us.

so let me get this straight.... its okay to want a giga, or an invert, or a wing rider, or ANY NUMBER OF other things we have speculated this coaster could be in this thread, but it is NOT OKAY to want a stupid inverted wingrider that would be 100% new and unique to Kings Island, and one of a kind in the world? i'm not saying its what i want, i frankly don't care what we get. just glad we are getting something since there are parks and people around the world that would be thrilled with whatever we are about to receive... but honestly, its not out of the realm of possibilities at this point. i dont think its fair to call reasonable idea stupid... and as i said, this is 100% reasonable. it may not be this year, but i could see it happening sometime in the future with the evolution of coasters. It's a stupid idea because it's virtually the same as a non-inverted Wing Coaster, but more difficult to support. This idea is stupid and pointless, and it's not going to happen.

I would have said that a few years ago, but Knott's is WAY better now. Full Throttle/Tatsu are the best there. X2 has gone down the tubes, Green Lantern blows. Superman is alright. Riddler's and Scream are ok. Apocalypse has gotten a little rough, but is still wild. Still just a crappy park compared to Knott's (especially with KBFs new management)

What do you mean? How about Sierra Sidewinder and Pony Express? Yeah, Pony Express sucks, haha and Sierra Sidewinder is ok. If we got an Intamin Giga (and they brought GhostRider back to it's original glory), our park would dominate. We already have the whole family aspect of the park down, we're so close to rounding out the coaster collection.

Yeah it is, I guess I'm used to it. I went there on Friday and got 9 rides on Xcelerator... that ride kicks serious butt! But yeah I was thinking, I really hope this Invert is better than Silver Bullet. I mean SB isn't bad persay, its just the first drop sucks and it lack intensity until the helix at the end. Overall that coaster doesn't hold a candle to Xcel. In terms of expanding, they could take out Boomerang and the sky tower and put a coaster there!
