Meh.....if I was to plan a trip during the winter months it would most definitely involve mountains, snow & skis. Even at my advance age I'm still an adrenaline junky so some lights and ice skating would not draw me to the park. As already said, I would prefer the time and money spent on off-season maintenance and improvements.

The big guy is definitely on the move, the position change is clearly visible via the webcam.

I rode the original Bat and now come next year I will ride a coaster that has went through 3 names/themes coming full circle back to The Bat. Not sure how I feel about that but I do like the new logo and the idea of sprucing up the area just not liking the use of a previous coasters name. "Revenge of The Bat"......maybe. Oh well, I'll take the good with the bad.

Process it?? When I got my '14 pass at the park it sure seemed that it was "processed" at that time (picture taken and card issued).

^ I tried the same thing even after calling but no luck for me. Guess it depends on the KI employee.

It looks to be in the back on one of the maintenance roads.

Just called the park.....free Gold pass parking is good for the 2014 season only and not included with the one time '13 visit. Just a FYI in case anybody has the same question. Heading over now and hope to see some of you members today!

i was wanting to buy the passes (wife and I) at the gate to avoid the "processing fees" but if it would save on parking it may be worth it. Starting to think the free parking is only for the '14 season .....I may have to give them a call to make sure.

Getting my Gold pass today at the gate and using my included '13 admission this afternoon/evening. Question is.....will I need to pay for parking today even though free parking is included with the Gold pass?
