I truly do not believe that.The theater four miles away will be a bigger competitor to Kings Island than Kentucky Kingdom will be. And that will be true for the foreseeable future. I really could care less about all the haunted houses set up and I'm there to ride and have fun in the dark. Night time rides on Beast & Diamondback make the Fall time even more enjoyable.

The real test is to see if KI can compete with the relaunch of KK in May 2014, they will need this new sweet ride to compete for tourist dollars next year.

if you rename FD to The Bat, then we need to retheme ALL the rides in that area. KI wont be doing that anytime soon. Always look at the big picture.

The biggest request we get is missing the trams to ride you back to your car at night. also when paramount sold the campgroud to great wolf lodge, its been 9 years and its always intersting hearing how many people want that campground back.

From what I read about the world record breaking it will not be the fastest or tallest - but could break record of longest steel coaster (8133 ft in Japan) SOB was 7032 ft already and cleared more land to break that record , and break the record for tallest vertical loop or drop for inversion coaster (tallest loop 160 ft. Great America or 170 ft. drop Gatekeeper). given KI is always about breaking records to make it unique to the park.
