Top Thrill Dragsters 10th anniversary
jdf21972 replied to CP&LERR Fan's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
wow! first time i rode was this year and enjoyed the entire ride. -
this issue comes from either the mother or the father unwilling to give the kids, who own the pass, their option to use "their" passes. Mostly the one parent paid for the pass and holds the pass but it really belongs to the kids. The forgot pass ticket is an option up to the 3rd time, then the problem comes from there. After 3, its $15 per pass to get a new pass made up. Then once the new pass is made, the other parent gets mad because they paid for the passes and the passes they hold are no longer valid. So to answer your question they can have 2 passes if they so choose. Each parent can have their own passes for the kids but, Its hard to believe that parents do this and hold their kids passes hostage or as a bargining chip I have purchased my kids season passes in the past for Christmas gifts and my ex purchases her own pass but we are civil enough to share in the fun of being at KI so they can enjoy the park, not try to hurt them and not enjoy the fun of KI.

my son loves the restraint system. he said its the first time he has felt secure in a coaster in a long time and enjoyed the entire ride. It is a bit snug but Banshee will have a similar restraint system for its ride next year so i know he will enjoy Banshee. Sorry about the injuries

What is your seat of choice on Kings Island's coasters?

GO BIG OR GO HOME! FRONT ROW IS THE ONLY WAY TO EXPERIENCE THE BEST KI HAS TO OFFER! -
always enjoy the wings and the chicken wrap.

Oops strike the first part thought you meant this Saturday. Sorry. The park is open 11am-1am. Have a great time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just remember the park is closed to the public until 7pm because of Toyota day. At 7pm they will start to let the public into the park. They close at 1am. The rides are open and it's a blast riding at night and having the best time with the scary mazes and characters running around the Coney Maul. It's a great time and atmosphere. But be prepared for the long lines because of Saturday. Enjoy your visit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got the email and I like the idea if a membership was an option instead of a season pass. If we can use real discounts at movie or sport events with our card would make it worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What would you think if kings island was not owned by Cedar Fair.

If Six Flags owned all Cedar Fair Parks?
jdf21972 replied to Diamondbacker27's topic in Kings Island
I would see a bankrupt Kings Island in 5 years (see reference Kentucky kingdom) that would be just a sad day here for many people. -
pardon me, do you have any grey poupon? haha

Just remember that saturday 9/21 the park opens to the public at 7pm, due to a private function during the day. So it will be interesting to see what the crowd size will be during the night.

Always wanted a season pass only gate entrance again. And also a season pass toll gate scanner only. Half the people in toll gates have to pay. That would be great to just scan and go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From what I know is that grill is prohibited because of cars (gasoline) and fire hazard itself with possible damage to other cars around you. As for drinking alcohol, the best thing you can do is conceal your drink in a coozie but people looking to get a buzz and come into the park are too stupid to figure this out and get busted by security or mason police or a guest in the parking lot concerned about safety. It only takes one phone call and security can be there in two minutes and watch out. They can detain you and contact mason police to possible arrest you. So just be smart and drink water or pop. The only way to truly get soaked is standing on the observation bridge at Congo falls to the right hand side and you will be soaked from a rush of water when the boat hits the bottom of the hill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think one of the most popular questions for people who are season pass holders is if The Racer will ever run backwards again. It's probably not going to happen again. But who knows maybe next year it will. Only time will tell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Still love to hear people ask about the Kings Island campground, I can only laugh and say its been gone for 9 years now , and you know it's been that long since they were at KI. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

they still use it for pizza party during the fireworks and rent for the kids birthday parties when they don't want the Dino party. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
