I've never been a fan of water rides and having the feeling of getting drenched and that wet clothes feeling afterwards. But the best place to get soaked is in the right corner of Amazon Falls a wall of water will drench you. Perfect for that hot humid 100* day at the park around 3pm. The pricing for Fast Lane and Fast Lane plus is being finalized and should be ready about the next 2 weeks. Banshee is part of Fast Lane + and will be priced according like last year with higher tier pricing on weekends. Just remember that Fast Lane allows you to by pass the regular queue lines and you may have a small wait as to when you can actually ride. Ride ops should allow some Fast Lane riders first then allow the regular queue line go next. KI hopefully designed the Banshee queue line like Gatekeeper at Cedar Point so you enter the line at the most difficult point, left or right side. Either way if you have fun on the 4th of July weekend and remember it's free admission for armed forces and it's on a friday so the park is sure to be overloaded and Fast Lane passes went up after Father's Day last year so get them while they are at the lowest price of the season. Not worth a whole thread, so I figured I'd post it as an aside here rather than start a topic in the "Other Parks" board. Between Flight Deck, Xtreme Skyflyer, Jr. Gemini, and The Grove at Kings Dominion, it would appear this is the year of the renames at Cedar Fair. overheard one day while waiting in line at The Beast: Dad: This ride was built when the park opened in 1982, I came here opening day and was one of the first to ride it. Son: Really thats cool dad! Me: telling my son in line with me: WOW!!, The Beast will celebrating its 35th Annivrsary next year, as I am looking at the plaque by ACE. Son looking puzzled after hearing what I just said, turns to his dad and asks what year again? Smh.

My most sentimental moment is actually the restaurant in Action Zone. It was 1994, and it was called Kafe Killamangaro and later renamed Action Stunt Grill then I beleive now The Chicken Shack? and I was working my 1st season at KI. I met my future wife and can honestly say looking at that building while holding hands with my youngest daughter or with my kids thinking without that place I would not be able to have the joy and happiness they bring me each time we scream down Diamondback or doing a double loop on Vortex or completeing a barrel roll on Firehawk. Without that place, my life would be so different.

Just a thought that you do get admission to the other Cedar Fair parks and free parking with your Platinum Pass

There was a big problem with people stuff getting stolen this year at KI and I'm sure you noticed the seatbelt locks installed later in the year because of this issue. KI is just reducing the liability factor of loose article of guests. The locker solves this problem. The RDIF bands will hopefully solve some money issues at the park also using it to purchase lockers. Anything to make life a little easier for the park is good news. Need a comedy show like, whose line is it anyway? Audience participation is always great and makes each show unique. A good 30 minute family friendly comedy.
