  1. As promise from earlier! Taken from an iPhone
  2. Just drove by the park. Banshee looks unbelievable against the KI skyline! You can see the front of the station from the road as well and it looks great! I cant wait to see her up close! (Will add pictures later)
  3. Maybe this has been discussed before but you can now make out the area where the entrance sign will go.
  4. Personally, i believe the reason that their waiting so long is an Action Zone surprise! (Wishful thinking!)
  5. ^^^ Touché and touché. Never thought of it that way lol
  6. ^^ Go karts might be a no go today. The whole state of Ohio is under a slight to moderate risk for severe weather, especially going into the afternoon.
  7. There it is again! A Banshee train is on the transfer track! (look carefully between the vertical loop.) This image and the webcam can be found by visiting Kings Islands Webcam Page
  8. Can we all just take a moment and appreciate how beautiful this coaster looks with the sun shining bright on it?
  9. the full train appeared to be moving back and forth between the storage area and the transfer track.
  10. Theyre probably just testing the drive wheels between the station and the transfer track area.
  11. I just hope they serve jumbo chicken wings with a wide variety of sauces! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Maybe they'll use the warmer weather this week to start working on the queue area. Not necessarily pouring concrete but just site preparation. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. I think Diamondbacks station design was rather simple which allowed for it to be completed much faster, also taking into account that we've had a very harsh winter this year, and lastly, Banshee's Photo Booth is under the station. When it's finished its going to look unbelievable!
  14. I think the minimum operating temperature is around 40-42 degrees. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Here's my guess; the low areas of the ride are areas where nearby wildlife or other things can make their way onto or around the track, so they fence it off and, since they fence it off, they put gravel down so they don't have to access the area to mow.
  16. ^^ You get the props! Your pic is bigger lol.
  17. Are they pouring concrete at the bottom of the first drop? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  18. They may use mirrors as well. Also, they usually have about 2-3 ride ops per side that all give each other thumbs up when their specific area is ready. I'm not sure if this is exactly how they do it, but it appears to be the case, at least on Raptor.
  19. Theres a blueprint floating around out there that shows the layout of the queues. I will try to find it! EDIT: Here it is! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. The station is really coming along nicely! Image can be found on Kings Islands Twitter page Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. David, what are you gonna do when all three trains are added?
  22. This page makes me want to actually try eating in park for once!
  23. Here it is from another angle! This image can be found on King Island's Twitter page
  24. I was kinda hoping that the siding of the station would be a little darker. Like this. Image can be found on Kings Island's website But I'm happy either way!
  25. I never understood what the point of the wall was when you're walking down the first set of steps when exiting the station.
