  1. Which GCI's have you ridden? And in what seat(s)? I've only ridden Thunderhead, but I didn't get anything more than mild floater. That shouldn't discourage anyone from enjoying the ride though. It had some pretty insane laterals.
  2. As long as we're doing frog-puns, I'll place my bet on it being named "Mr. Toad's Wild Ride."
  3. I think that's what makes the ride great. The laterals are so strong and the layout has so many direction changes, it's a struggle just to stay upright!
  4. If it's a runaway-train theme, "Elocomotive" (cross between el loco and locomotive). I'll let myself out.....
  5. Question.... does TPR get money from the views the video has, or the amount of "likes" it receives?
  6. .Fixed for ya Ethan, thank me later.TIL belly buttons may or may not be based on facts.
  7. It wouldn't sell YOU a pass, apparently, but as long as a coaster looks fun and interesting enough to ride, people will come. The same amount of people that would come for an RMC would come for a GCI, because they don't care about the manufacturer.
  8. The general public most likely doesn't care. I mean, sure, given the choice between a traditional wooden coaster and a looping wooden coaster, they'd probably choose the latter. But they aren't going to be upset that they got a traditional wooden coaster. Seriously, the only people who care this much about coaster manufacturers are enthusiasts.
  9. How are they treating their customers badly? Because they might not be building a coaster from the company YOU want? I mean, spend your money however you want, but just because they aren't catering specifically to YOU or the other 0.001% of their market that obsesses over rollercoasters and manufacturers, it doesn't mean that they're just completely negligent of what their customers want.
  10. When does GCI come with steel ties? http://rcdb.com/10348.htm[EDIT] Never mind, you said steel TIES.
  11. I don't think those plans were something we were meant to see. The video was made private after I shared it on this site. Whoever uploaded it might be among us.
  12. They looked like more detailed plans for the ride, but I removed the link because we don't know who uploaded the video or how the plans were obtained.
  13. The video I posted was the link, but I removed it because of shark's comment. It might be a little sketchy.
  14. Not saying Mean Streak is getting converted, but New Texas Giant was RMC's first big project. So I believe it took them longer to construct since their facility wasn't very large at the time.
  15. It's not about legacy so much as it is about return on investment. Which is why you'll probably never see a giga at Michigan's Adventure.
  16. I think this coaster might be dedicated to Muhammad Ali! Think about it- Muhammad Ali is from Louisville, which is only about two hours away. KI posted pictures of a train, Muhammad Ali had to train to get good. The park is teasing falling trees, Muhammad Ali was probably strong enough to knock down trees. Muhammad Ali was 6'3," and if you multiply 63 by 5, you get 315 which is tall enough for a giga coaster! I'm definitely not reading WAY too deep into the tweets, I'm just sharing my ideas. They're just as valid as what has already been posted.
  17. You might be checking the wrong trademark page: http://www.trademarkia.com/company-kings-island-park-llc-4250657-page-1-2Nothing there yet, but Banshee is trademarked under Kings Island's page.
