I swear on Sunday I heard Aint it Fun by Paramore at least 10 times. Not that it's a bad song but just a little much.
-
Even if they did accept them, wouldn't they become null and void once Paramount took over the park?

I was there at 5:00 in the morning! Got third train of the day! I got to Kings Island at 10:30 Sunday and rode the third train of the day lol

I almost never buy food in the park anymore. Way too expensive. Every once in a while I'll buy a pretzel from Auntie Anne's or an ice cream. Most of this is from a bad experience me and my dad had a couple years back. I would tell the story but I don't know if he's on these forums or still works at the park and I wouldn't want to offend him. Although we did complain about what happened.

I like the FUN tv. I beat my dad every time in the trivia.

I think that 2015 will be like what 2013 was. Nothing new finished and moderate crowds. Maybe some scenery improvements but don't expect any new rides.

Guess an admin can go ahead and lock this thread up since it has been debunked.

I had no idea what was going to be honest! Row 8 was super fast! Based off of my knowledge of the coaster I knew what part we were on but I had no idea when we were upside down! So fast and so thrilling! 11/10.

Maybe it's getting painted? Some people say that it's in need of a new paint job but I love tge way it looks now. I still don't like Delirium's paint and I don't know how they could top off the old paint job. Plus does anyone know if Drop Towers at other Cedar Fair parks have operated yet?

I don't see any reason for the park to get rid of Vortex. Sure it's a little rough but what arrow isn't? It's not sinking and it doesn't cost anywhere near as much as what Ozmodian says it does. Vortex is a classic iconic ride that is going to stay in this park for many years to come.

My dad said mabe they could convert it into an all year haunted house. The kids have Boo Blasters, why can't the adults have a real scary haunted house!

Does anyone know when they will change the pictures for Banshee on the website? Right now it's still the animation.

Today was an EXTREMELY AMAZING TRIP. We got to the park at 10:30 and were about 4th in line to get into the park. When it finally opened it was like the Hunger Games to get to Banshee. People were literally sprinting to it. My dad and I waited about 15 minutes to ride it the first time. We were in the purple train row 8 seat 1 and 2 (I was in 2) and it was truely the most amazing ride I had ever ridden. Being in the back it was super fast anyway. After that we headed to The Bat and sat in the back on it too, having got a small headache after riding as well. Well being the true genius that I am, I decided to next go on Invertigo and Delirium with a headache. Invertigo added a stomachache to the party and Delirium just killed me. We decided to get some water and head back to the car to eat. I felt a little better after some lunch and decided to go back in for a ride on Diamondback. It seemed really rough compared to normal. We tried to slow things down with a nice train ride after Diamondback but sadly it was closed. So we decided to head over to The Beast. As my tradition I sat in the front and had one of the smoothest rides on The Beast ever! We then went to Backlot Stunt Coaster, and Dinosaurs Alive, which I had never been to before. We decided then to just go back to Banshee where we only waited 8 minutes. This time we sat in green train row 8 again seats 3 and 4 (I sat in 4) Another fast, awesome ride. I figured since the line was so small that I'd go again. So we went straight from the gift shop straight into the line again. This time green train row 7 seat 3. A computer glitch occured and we were stuck on the break run for about 12 minutes. After we got off I decided to get myself a Banshee T-Shirt because they were cheaper than the on-ride photos. We finished our day off with another ride on Diamondback and The Beast. An amazingly spectacular first trip to Kings Island. I can't wait to go again! Here's my new shirt BTW

Did Drop Tower run today?

I try to go on Tuesdays. Almot every ride is a walk on. I think the only one that wasn't was FoF, and we still only waited 15 minutes

I vote to take down The Crypt's old building and put in an Enterprise

It's a shame the Festhaus is different. I liked it's German vibe

Okay, I need your guys opinion on this. Me and my dad are going to KI on Easter and we think the crowds will obviously still be very large. We're estimating 2 hours or more on Banshee, Beast, Diamondback, and Flight of Fear all day. This would be the first time and only time all season we would do it. But we're pondering buying Fast Lane Plus. Do you guys think this is a good idea or not? We haven't bought it yet and are probably going to wait until how tomorrow goes at the park. I have mixed feelings about it, I want to buy it but I'll feel guilty about spending $120 for both me and my father. I guess this is just what you adults feel dishing out big bucks for things. Let me know you're thoughts on this!

Just a quick question, what would the estimated wait for Banshee be at 11:30 this Sunday?
-
As you can see on the webcam, that line is HUGE! A big reason I never go on opening day lol.
-
I agree. I might go as far as saying Banshee might be Kings Island's greatest ride ever! However I have yet to ride it. Sunday isn't far away though!
