Regardless this goes towards my earlier statement...are we seeing the end? I freaking love this ride, they've got to figure it out and put another train on the track!

As much as I love this ride, it's my favorite even with The addition of Banshee, I'm curious to see what they do long term. Are we seeing the end of FOF? Are they going to do an overhaul during the off season? I purchase FastLane Plus every time I go do to medical reasons and it saddens me I won't be able to ride this any more. I ended up coming down with a nasty headache and didn't go. I'm glad we didn't make the 45 minute drive now! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yeah no worries on the surf thing! Broke a rib on it a couple years ago. My accident prone body is not made for it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My daughter and I are going. One question as it's been years since we've been to Soak City. Will they allow you to wear water shoes? The concrete there is extremely hard on my feet and I don't want to go bare foot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question: I've seen them in line with them already on. Is this okay or are a no no too?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Too many people to quote but I feel the to respond to several. One I am one of the parents that forced my child on a ride she did not want to ride. I did not take her until she was tall enough to ride most rides and she loved them. Then came Diamondback. She didn't want to ride it I forced her, knowing my daughter she would love it. She cried in the station and up the hill. She is now a diehard! Second the smoking areas. I am a smoker and it annoys me that many people don't smoke in the assigned areas. However what annoys me more is while I am in said assigned area a nonsmoker complains to me about the smoke. It is clearly posted it is a smoking area and I am not outside the area you are inside it. The only other thing (just happened recently) is the stupid refill cups inside the bins!!! Don't put full or partially filled cups in there darn it!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wear my glasses on all rides WITH a strap. Don't buy the ones in the park they are crap. Walmart, Target, Dicks Sporting Goods all have good straps. As Terp said Croakies are best. They are like $12 and SO worth it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I first started riding I was worried too. Now I love it and don't hold on so I get the full hang time effect. I think I enjoy the view and hearing people squeal the most! Then I usually try to talk some kid or adult next to me into letting go. It's all great fun!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed I was part of it. As for BLSC the fire wasn't turned on June 13th. The ride ops stated it was due to the weather. It was raining slightly that morning. I thought that was odd but didn't question further. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Were there still "haunted" attractions like this I might consider going through them. Now I'd rather ride the rides while everyone else goes through the haunts that don't even scare my child. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm watching WHIO right now and they just did the live story about Banshee. Like others have said this stuff happens all the time. I got stuck myself on FOF on opening day. People should be reporting that the rides are working as they are designed and the train was stopped in a safe location. Seriously getting annoyed with the general population. I'm watching the local CBS station in Dayton (WHIO or Channel 7) and they reported this is the second time the ride has caught on fire. I woke up the dogs steaming at the TV. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I counted to 7 which I'm sure was slower than 7 seconds. I will try the 1 Mississippi next time and see if it changes anything. I don't wear a watch so I can't actually time it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Even knowing when it's coming it's still a wee bit overwhelming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The count to 7 trick works. Tried it today! The view of Banshee is great up there by the way! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^I would just say if someone offers to help make sure they can't see what number you type in! Oh and yeah it's like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was at the Banshee lockers a while back. Two ladies did not understand the kiosk and were slowing up the line. I offered to help. What if I had been a dishonest person? A lot of the responsibility falls on the renter of said lockers. Also how about all those people that just sit their crap on top of the lockers? Ugh! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I really hope they are able to get things fixed soon, whatever they are. I've lost a ton of weight since last summer and I'm excited to see if it's no longer painful to ride Drop Tower!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yep, opening day. I was evac'd off the ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My only complaint about the lockers is there aren't enough. At peak times of day I've seen people wait for them to empty or just put their stuff on the ground. For the record, as I use the locker every time, they are auto for 2 hours at $2. You can change it though. You can add time or take it down to just an hour. You are paying a dollar an hour. I put my stuff in the locker then go ride all the rides in Action Zone then get my stuff. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven't been on Raptor in 12 years so I don't really remember those. But row four on Banshee is what my husband calls the big boy row. We took his brother who is a size 48 waist and he could not ride. My husband is a size 40 and absolutely no problems. I hope that helps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I ask every time and they tell me no. That they have to fill rows and then send me to a different row. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have my issues with personal space and touching people so I typically decline the high five. I do however smile and say something to them. My daughter knows of my issues and will high five for me. I think it's okay though. It's mostly kids getting pumped up, excited and having fun. I'd rather them do this than screaming and yelling in line. What bothers me more is those that use horrible language, usually preteens, and bounce around bumping into every freaking person in line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
