Wow... I don't think McDonalds pays better. They start at minimum wage or close to it. I'm at least 2 dollars an hour over minimum wage.

This probably isn't a huge hairy deal, and I'm sure it's happened before, but last night, I just happened to watch Face/Off valley between the second lift hill and the loop. I was standing at one of my carts, and was facing it. It went up the loop, the front got about to the middle point, and then it went back down the way it came. It was kind of funny. It came back one time, went a little up the loop, and then left again. I never saw it again. I assume there are brakes there to catch it if that happens. I've always wanted to see that happen, just once.

The thing about Vortex that makes no sense to me is the transition behind Rvt Pizza. I was looking at this last night. It's making the left turn to go down to the loops, and it is banked, then flattens out quickly, which causes a great deal of pain, and then it quickly jumps back to its banking. Poor design, I believe.

Almost all the floral displays are still there. They did take out the hanging basket behind the Eiffel Tower and parked a mower there. The clock and date are still there, in their original locations. The statue is located to the right of the path behind the Eiffel Tower if you were facing the Floral Clock.

While I admit to being slightly homophobic, I also am open minded, and to each his own. Gay guys can make out, what's the big deal? Maybe you wouldn't be so disgusted if you didn't stare. I make out with my girlfriend, so what? Don't stare, you shouldn't have a problem. I don't understand why people are so closed minded. If everyone had been like that forever, then there would be nothing but straight white males in charge, and while I am one, that is not something I'd want. Diversity is important.

I think there's too many sources indicating contact with B&M for it to be anything else... But I've been wrong many a time, so draw your own conclusion.

I hope it's for a coaster, and I hope the announcement will be soon, but only time will tell.

A season pass is different then a Gold Season Pass, the Gold Pass has a few perks, which I'm not entirely sure of. You had to buy them before May 18, so if you buy a Season Pass now, it will be white.

I had a complaint from a guy in HB land yesterday who was furious about people smoking there. I don't blame him. If anything, they could do us all a favor and ban smoking in HB, it would make their children's area have that much more appeal to the 90% of people who aren't too thick headed to understand why it was banned. Or they could go the Disney World route, and ban smoking everywhere in the park except designated areas.

Inexpensive, Yes. Would it show a family of 4 having fun together on the ride? No. I think that was the point. And maybe they had one of those type of cars and stuck it on the track to shoot the commercial. More outrageous stuff has happened.

I agree with you 100% IC, however the world is going down the proverbial tubes. Even I say things suck. Like, for example, I was talking to another employee at the Sunoco across from the park one night, and I asked her where she worked, which was nickolodean (did I butcher the spelling on that or what). I automatically replied that sucks. But anyway... I do think we should all be nicer on the site, and not so "You Suck, I Rule; I'm Right, You're Wrong..."

Just goes to show how lazy I am, and how much bandwidth I love to waste.

We aren't open to the public on Sunday, and I'd expect a decent crowd on Saturday, if the weather will be nice, just based on last week.

I read somewhere that Fearfest this year will be from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on saturdays and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on sundays. There will be family events during the day, and as it progresses on to night, the fearfest we all know and love will come out.

Er.... The first is Sunday, just to point that out. Not Saturday.
