  1. I believe a woodie should be rough, but only to a degree... If I get off and feel like my spine has been compressed, there is a problem, and that's how it's been of late with SOB. I can't wait to ride it with the retracking.
  2. I'll have to disagree about the articles. It makes me shudder to read the one about the off season. I know grammar isn't everyone's strong point, however, and I'm not trying to be mean.
  3. 37,000 That's not what I heard. You heard wrong then. I was told wrong. okay cool. the quote box thing looks cool with our one line replies.
  4. reminds me of the Pepsi Python. The python tried to break my neck. I don't think I would have liked this very much. Then again, I don't particularly care for the festhaus either.
  5. Gotta vote for Action Zone. (represent yo yo) I don't care for all the concrete, but we do have the best rides, some of the best food (stunt crew, nachos and Dippin Dots), and clearly the best employees in the park.
  6. Dry Run night was awesome because it was employees and their guests only, and not many people chose to show up, so a lot of the attractions were walk ons. I liked that a lot more than when I came back during the real deal and had to wait in line, plus the people were a lot more enthusiastic and into it during Dry Run because they hadn't ever done it before.
  7. That would be really cool, but if it rained, it would be horrible. Probably canceled.
  8. I think they've gotten quieter over the years... Or maybe the park has just turned up the music. To me, the music is much more annoying.
  9. Those bands you mentioned don't want to play at a venue with seats... They're not the kind of music you sit down and listen to. I saw RBF at Warped in 2002, and just like any other "punk/ska" show I've ever been to, it's so much better to be standing up in front of the stage, with no seats. Hence the reason that Warped brings their own stages to Riverbend, and sets them up in weirder places, and only the smaller acts play on the big stage, under the canopy, which was divided in two. Thats how it was in 2002 anyway. It would be cool though, if KI could get the Warped Tour to come. Except I think it would be in the Picnic Grove.
  10. Actually, it says " You won't know which up is way." I think. Because you're supposed to be in a state of Delirium. haha.
  11. We don't even hit 20,000 some days. And to compare, just as a baseline, NSYNC sold out quite a few 60,000 seat stadiums a few years back. But most band's crowds could fit in timberwolf.
  12. That is one of the single dumbest questions I've ever heard in my life. Of course he doesn't know how long the game is going to take. It's Baseball. It could take 3 hours, or it could take 6, it just depends.
  13. They could add an elevator to reopen it. It would be quite cool if they did.
  14. Were you in the show by chance...?
  15. Hence the question mark in my original post. Thanks for the correction.
  16. You were right there when I took the most recent picture of Jeff on the Jeff fansite. Yes I was... Just a little to the left.
  17. Vibe and Pulse each only run twice a day... But they're not Timberwolf material. Number of times a day has nothing to do with it. No show PKI produces could ever draw more than enough people to even fill up the Showplace, much less make a dent in Timberwolf, especially during the week. It takes too many security guards, too many ushers, and the venue is too remote to put a daily show there and expect it to get attended.
  18. Think about Drop Zone... A car that weighs quite a bit, with 50(?) adults on it, moving at 65 MPH... I wonder how much weight it's actually stopping, considering g-forces and the like. Magnets are truely amazing.
  19. Honestly, Vibe on the Bandstand reminds me of some of the bad karaeoke performances I've witnessed. I give Vibe a 2/10, and Pulse a 0/10.
  20. Not if they did it section by section
  21. I don't think it's a misfire, as LIM's involve magnets and as such cannot misfire. I had heard in the past that the computer uses some sort of weight calculation to determine whether or not it is safe to send the car into the cobra roll, I could be wrong, however. I'll leave it to someone who knows better than I.
  22. I also had the pleasure of talking to Mr. Seibert on the 4th. He was taking down a tent at the front gate, and I happened to be on a cart around that area. He is a very nice and funny guy, and I see why he is so well liked.
  23. They play crappy music videos on QTV, but throughout the park is the music being referred to here. Only in Nick Central will you hear crappy crap like Avril Lavigne. AZ consists of mostly 80's music... "Wake me up, before you go girl, cuz i'm not plannin on goin solo..." Stuff like that. International Street has calming, instrumental music, and Coney has some of the same stuff as AZ, and some different stuff. The music on IS and in AZ never changes. NEVER.
  24. Skylab wasn't on the board last year. It's been gone for many, many years.
  25. I remember one time when I rode KCKC, the ops were dressed up pilgrim-like. It was cool, but kind of scary.
