  1. I've driven down by there before... nothing too special.
  2. Chang was horrible. I loved the track layout, but it was so freaking painful on my legs. SFKK is horrible with maintainance and landscaping.
  3. They don't necessarily have to keep brent spence open during the construction... all traffic could be diverted to 471 or something. It wouldn't be pretty, but it would work.
  4. Cool looking pic... It looks like there's a crack in the first car and on the track, but upon further review it's a piece of the transfer track. So good job.
  5. Dare I ask why the creator of this topic's name means bat poop
  6. Maybe I should be more specific. A little bird. Small. He didn't tell me to not tell anybody though.
  7. I think SOB is just so ugly in the skyline... I love how you can't see The Beast at all really, and I love the color of the wood it uses.
  8. Those aren't AZ. Maybe Nick, but not AZ. Songs I know: Wake me up, before you go girl... that one song chris tucker sings in rush hour 2 in the mob bar we are family by sister sledge (always skips) some michael jackson song I can't think of any more right now.
  9. I heard from a bird that you should all get your hopes up.
  10. I have to challenge this. From what I've seen, the park will hire darn near anybody, and sometimes the customer service gets rather ridiculous. People don't know a thing about please and thank you. It's always "HUH?" or "WHA?" never anything polite. Well, not never, but you get the point.
  11. wrong forum, but yeah it'll most likely be busy. good weather, last sat. of the year, and saturdays have been busy all fearfest.
  12. I saw it this year when DZ was stuck for a good 30 minutes at the top. Eventually they began to lower it and it finally released when it hit the brakes. They tested it all day, and every time they put people on, it got stuck again. It was mildly amusing.
  13. The box on the top looks to be about the same size, so I'd have to go with the motors being on top. But their color scheme is way better.
  14. Mr. Zellner's a great guy, too. Definately enjoy talking to him, when I get the pleasure. My mistake about the executive chef thing.
  15. It's probably gone forever. I lost my glasses on T2 at SFKK and I turned in one of those papers at GR, and they still never turned up. Good luck though.
  16. I remember having to cross the pond thing to get into Adventure Village... And there used to be a merch shop where Ice Scream Zone is, and the exit to KC deposited you there. Straight disney stuff. Then they put in AZ and it's now a gigantic mess of concrete.
  17. I don't think Zellner is the executive chef... I believe there's another person with that distinction.
  18. You can't really petition a private corporation to make a TV show. I mean sure, make up your petition and all, but what's the point.
  19. magnets wouldn't be affected by bug guts. I don't think there's much to worry about with Drop Zone.
  20. To me, it seemed that Coney Mall was much more crowded then last year, as were the attractions. I was down by FOF on Saturday night, and you couldn't move. The line for Psyco Path was out past under The Racers. People were none to happy about it, either. A lady behind me was ramming her stroller up the back of my legs. Ah, the joys of being a PKI employee.
  21. I thought what I did (Rt. 666, Maze, Path, Clowns) was a lot less scary then last year... and last year, dry-run was much better then the real thing.
  22. I saw a back hoe parked over by the pirate ship and wipeout beach when I was leaving today.
  23. That's not nearly an hour by my count... 45 minutes tops, I'd say. It's about 3 cycles, at maybe 15 minutes a cycle, so... I could be wrong though. Haven't ridden this year, at least not since the beginning of the year
  24. It's probably been released to the media for a few days, but they weren't allowed to publish the info until today. That would explain the 12:01 thing and all the local papers publishing it as well.
  25. It would be cool, yes, but it's not feasable. There's insurance liability if someone happens to step on ice. IR would have to undergo renevations to comply with ADA. The park needs the off season to do work, for example renovate the fountain. I could see maybe opening it for a couple days around thanksgiving and a couple around christmas, but not for the whole winter, not even weekends. Don't get me wrong, I'd love it, but I just don't see it happening, as not too many people would be interested.
