Days of Thunder was by far the best. They brought it back last year on side 2 but took it out only after a few weeks because of a lack of attendance. I know that PKD also did this but it was in their AT throughout most of the season.

Ok here is the dealio, wait until your 16th bday. On that day go to www.pki.com look under the jobs section. If there is a listing under jobs that says "rides associate" then that means there are openings. This will save you the time from driving up and and being shot down or wasting your time calling. Yes it is true what most people say that rides will be full come the start of the season as it always is. But do not give up hope for some associates do leave when they figure out they actually have to work or they cant cut it. This is when positions open up and this will be your opportunity. First off Pay should NOT be the deciding factor on if you want to work at the park. You should pick the job that you are going to have the most fun at. Hours are usually flexible but most departments want unlimited availability. Pay does not vary with education because frankly you probably dont have the slightest idea about how a theme park runs. Any other questions let me know as I do have quite a bit of knowledge on this subject.

No one should buy the park. It is in good hands right now and PP would be insane to sell the #1 seasonal theme park in the world.

Maybe its just me but I dont see the big deal about the parking lot. I could see if they were building a ride in the parking lot, but they are not. It seems to me that they are putting up curbs around the parking lot right now. What they will do do next, who knows? I wouldn't hold you breath for the entire lot to be repaved because that would take a very long time.

Are you kidding me??? The 19th is a Thursday. Why would they open the ride on a day when there isn't going to be anyone in the park. I think the 19th sounds right for media day and the ride should be operating on the 20th.

First of one of them isn't even in service so we can place that in the junk pile AT is a flat ride

The two areas cannot be compared. Rivertown is themed after a mine town. While Action Zone isn't really themed after anything. Its still an "Adventure Village" Its where most of the high thrilling rides are located. If you want to compare capacity records, then AZ has Rivertown beat in all aspects. AZ has such a high attendance in their area throughout the day. Rivertown does not have many rides in its area therefore it can't really compete on the attendance scale. Coney has more people in it then Rivertown does because it is so long and has so many flat rides. So therefore to answer your question AZ is indeed better than Rivertown.

I can't believe what half of you are saying... You sit here and complain that PKI never gets a new coaster. We finally get one for you and all youdo is complain about where its placed. Anyone can sit here and crtitcize the kind of ride and the choice Here is a starlting fact for everyone, PPKI is a business. Its making money. Sometimes when you want something bigger and different you have to make sacrifices (Antique Cars, Eagles). IJST is being built as we speak so why complain over something you cant change. I think the placement was the right call. I could think of only one other area that that coaster could have fit in , but it would have taken away from the carnival feel of Coney Mall.

I could definately see a future ride themed after this ride. And this is just from seeing the preview. Take you pick of what kind (even though most would say coaster). I think a coaster would be good but maybe possibly something in Action Theatre to replace Spongebob.

How is the Mission Space ride at Epcot? The last time i visited they were just finishing it but it wasn't open.
