  1. I knew about Delirium in May of last year. Before we were open every day. When did they take that survey?
  2. I've got some many things running around in my head right now its not even funny.
  3. What does that have to do with those people getting struck by lightning. Nothing. They don't want you past those ropes because there are still trucks driving around (possibly forklifts) and they can't see too well around corners, plus with people running (even though they are not supposed to) it could turn out to be pretty ugly. Its for you own safety.
  4. Thats funny cause Canada's Wonderland got one that year too, though it opened only a month later.
  5. He won't tell you anything.
  6. Live in Cincinnati... check Over 18... check Willing... check check profile for email
  7. Oh oh I know!! LONDON BRIDGE!! The park is building a replica of the London Bridge across International Street to revamp the international feel.
  8. **IMPORTANT** I deleted half this thread because it was senseless bickering about what is a clone and what isn't. If you want to talk about clones, start another topic, which I would probably close anyways because everyone would fight about it. (Though if you search I've already explained every ride that is a clone and what isn't in another topic) This topic is about the survey results. Stick to it or it will be closed.
  9. Don't we already have a topic about a new page layout (site redesign) on this board. CLOSED
  10. Too long to read... would loose my attention soon after starting anyways. Same if I were to hear you tell us. I don't wait at the ropes anymore anyways. I've got my ways around that.
  11. If you are just going to complain about the park and say you aren't going to get a pass to KI next... who cares. Don't get one, don't come to the park cause you'll probably be the reason someone else has a bad experience cause you are complaining about stuff and they start to look at everything negatively as well. Stop telling us you aren't going to get a pass. You've told us a million times. Anyways... what is everyone's thoughts on the results of the survey... not whether or not you are going to get a pass.
  12. They could have started building and announced much later. Other parks do that. People tell people that the park is building something. It gets attention from the guests and the park didn't have to spend a dime to tell people. Then inform everyone on what is actually to come to get them even more excited.
  13. I think its pretty cool, as long as the music chosen is good and agreeable by all. However, KI's lines are rarely as long as CP lines so you would hear a few then you're done.
  14. And that is the area I'm talking about. No forms. I swear.
  15. Well there has been stuff going on back there for a while. No there are not "forms" back there. There is a dumpster and a road back there, so that would explain trucks. The dumpster is used for many things, some of which is to dispose of wood taken off The Racer. If there was actual working going on you would see like semi's and bull dozers.
  16. I'm not deleting but closing. We don't advertise other sites except our affiliates. Thank you.
  17. Topic isn't about taking people to PKI, its about Saturn and PKI. That day is pretty cool. Get to check out the cars that they bring out to the picnic grove. They have a test track thingy in the parking lot past the water park. (Sometimes) Plus they usually give away little cool things too and they always have some left over. I usually take home a few every year, since I end up working out there that day. It is really nice of Saturn to do that for their customers... though I find it odd that we have a Saturn day and bring in Saturn cars and customers when... The park is sponsered by John Nolan Ford. Speaking of which, what happened to all the Ford display cars that were in the park last year? Why didn't they bring them back this year?
  18. Have you seen bulldozers or cement trucks? I haven't seen any come into the park.
  19. Like Losing Streak said... you are to be in full wardrobe or completely out of wardrobe (ie street clothes), on or off clock, at any point when a guest can see you. That includes arriving to work and walking through the parking lot. AZ Kinda Guy... as a supervisor you can do everything there is to do about it. While they are off the clock, it may be their time... but its not their park. I tell everyone I see to tuck in their shirts or take off their walkman's until they are in Oscars or out of the view of Guests. They always yell at me cause "i'm off the clock"... then I explain to them and they tuck in their shirts. Dragonlord... I know you are concerned about the look of employees, but unless you are a supervisor you have no right in the park to tell any associate to follow wardrobe rules. On those issues you are an equal to them, you have no authority.
  20. Though aren't those people the same people that were in line like 5 hours earlier? Waiting and waiting for the ride to re-open? Sorry... just had to add that.
  21. Canceled the original media preview. I had to set all that crap up... then take it right back down.
  22. I was just clarifying because it seemed like maybe people would start thinking from reading only a few things that it did valley on the 4th.
  23. Already working on that. Since some people seem interested. Tell me what you people want in it and I'll try my darndest to deliver.
  24. **The pictures of the train stuck in the rose bowl are not the reason the ride was closed on Aug 4th.** **Those were taken in 2000 around the time the ride was still having its "problems" opening. What was the cause of it being closed all day... I don't know. However, I did hear someone say it got stuck. Where? Doing what? I don't know... or if its even true.
