  1. Great Bear at Hershey Park had warning signs for that.
  2. Who's the same person? gforce1994 and Daniel Glauser? Either way I think assessing was the intended word.
  3. I saw one on The Beast just before you the queue ends at the coaster where the ride ops stop you.
  4. The train used to be a haunt and would stop there. They no longer use the train for a haunt so the old stop (station) remains unused. I never experienced it myself.
  5. And Hershey Park's ZooAmerica was having people pet them! I'll leave out the fact that it was about 3 inches long or people won't be horrified.
  6. I noticed for the first time today the alien hidden in the FoF queue.
  7. I think Zephyr has an extra row of seats. I'll have to check my pics when I get home.
  8. Using that pic as a reference I measured it out (roughly) in Google Maps and got about 3,200 ft. I don't know how much elevation changes will add but that isn't terribly small. For reference The Racer is 3,415 ft., Storm Chaser is 2,744 ft. and Goliath is 3,100 ft. I used Wikipedia as the source for coaster length. Should this turn out to be an RMC it would be a decent bit longer than the closest competition assuming this pic is accurate. Should it be a GCI it would be close to Lightning Racer's 3,393 ft. Makes me hope that pic is close
  9. That is beside the point (no pun intended), they are the same size and will likely hold around the same amount of rides. Once Kings Island has as many rides as Cedar Point they will likely be running out of room as well.
  10. It might be what gives the ride its tilt.
  11. When I was there at open I rode Hydra twice in a row then Steel Force once by myself. And I mean I was the only rider on the entire train It got Kings Island busy later though in relation to wait times.
  12. Nope. I disagree. What makes it special is still there and plenty of new riders enjoy it every year. It may not make the same splash but it would still be pretty unique and great.
  13. Line for The Beast is full through the first set of switchbacks. Was a 5 min wait when I rode it earlier. BLSC is about 5 min right now.
  14. For The Beast's pass holder night rides event a new rule will be enacted- no holding your hands up on the ride! I just had to (It's a joke if anybody took that seriously.)
  15. I've had zero problems with those too My Dad has had to get a new cup though and had problems with his voucher during the season passholder day.
  16. I have, worked one evening and not the next. After waiting in line for security then having to leave the secure area to get the pass fixed then in the security line again then the line to get the pass scanned again. Cost me over half an hour at park opening. Six has problems too. And my Cedar Fair pass? No issues so far, including my trip to CP. I guess its just case by case.
  17. If it's like Banshee the queue may go over the tracks.
  18. I've heard that a few times when the water park was getting upgraded. Trucking in sand they said, no more concrete.
  19. The footers under The Bat were for the old queue back when it was named Top Gun. The queue wrapped around the lower part of the station where there were displays with Top Gun stuff in them. You can see a picnic table where the queue used to go. That's right, The Bats queue used to be even longer. Edit: the Son of Beast grave has days where it is lit and days where it isn't. Not a yearly thing.
  20. I haven't seen it open once and I figured they didn't use it anymore. But I haven't seen the train station freestyle open yet either.
