  1. All lanes of KI drive are open and freshly paved in both directions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Kings Island drive north has all three lanes open. They still need to do the final coat of blacktop, but the road is fully open. Southbound still has limited lanes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I don't know... But when you use a dining plan at any food location you can see on the cash register a reduced price that shows up. I assume that is the price that Kings Island pays the food vendor (and thus that's the amount they count for their daily sales total). If I recall, the values I've seen are in the ~$7 range per meal. 4. It's unfortunate they aren't setting them up for success. I'd assume vendors make less on dining plan costumers, but I assume they still make some profit. Plus dining plan holders would bring their friends or buy extra items occasionally. If this season is a test, it seems destined to fail if they can't get essentially free word of mouth advertising from the pass holders. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Rumor has it that the guys at the stand are saying they won't be part of the meal plan this season. Anyone able to confirm this tonight? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. During the "summer" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. There's actually 4 during the dinner... And the one in Soak City told me the same thing when they ran out of the pizza dipping sauce. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thought I'd start posting the end of season food outages... River town la Rosa apparently is out of the cheese for the breadsticks and told us they aren't allowed to get any from the other la Rosas. And so it begins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. They thought the 8.99 menu options would be included... But it's still not set up yet... This morning they said maybe next weekend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Both do. Chick-fil-a is either a 8 price nugget and fries or a basic chicken sandwich and fries. Panda is 2 items plus fried/white rice or lo mein noodles. Chick isn't open Sundays. Panda opens relatively later (not open in the morning) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The cheese steaks were on the dining plan. The hot dogs and Italian sausages were on the dining plan. Will Tom and chee be on the dining plan? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I've made this comment before... But each cup should have a unique barcode which would be linked to your pass holder account. You wouldn't need to have your pass with you to refill... But if your cup was stolen you could go to guest services, they could look it up and deactivate it. Then you could buy a new cup for a nominal fee (i.e. the cost of the cup). Even better, when the Thief tries to use the deactivated cup alarms would go off and public shaming would commence. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks for the reply. Heads up for anyone out there that's interested in their count... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So every few months, I delete and then re-add my season pass to my app so that I can see the updated total for my annual visits. It's fun for me [emoji1]. Today when I tried to re-add my pass, it says 0 visits for 2016. Is anyone else having this issue? The main thing that has changed since the last time I did this is that I have a already renewed my pass for 2017... And I haven't visited the park since I've done the renewal... But the information on the re-loaded pass still says 2016. Anyway... Anyone else having this issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So does that mean Planet Snoopy isn't even open?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I have no desire to be in the park during haunt... Especially with my kids. Can anyone tell me if this Friday the haunt starts at 6pm when the park opens... Or are there some haunt free hours right at opening that we could walk around in peace? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. P&G was both yesterday and today. Planet Snoopy is a mess... Everything else is walk on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I'll be there tomorrow... Which I expect will have longer lines than today based on today's threat of rain that never really came. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Drove by this morning. Sign said private event for "Lbrands". Columbus based parent company of Victoria secret, the limited, bath & body works, etc. Parking lot was basically empty at 10:30... Seems like it would be an amazing day at the park. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Drove by around 10:40. Parking lot is packed, entrance gate was completely full of cars and the line to enter stretched from the gate all the way south passed western row (and likely onto the highway). It's going to be packed today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. More like surprised that Kings Island would have so many down machines. Lines for everything were longer than I'm used to, but my family had a great time playing some games and eating treats that we normally don't spend the extra$$ on. I was NOT disappointed. International street la Rosa had both sides and all 4 checkout lines open. That line moved well. A large la Rosa cheese pizza costs $12 outside the park. This weekend, at $1 a slice, you can get a pizza for $8 in the park. I'd expect tomorrow to be a mad house. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. The laser tag game in coney mall is only $3 today Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. So many of the card machines are down... The$1 games need to just accept cash today. Literally walked passed 3 broken card machines and one that was out of cards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Done. I realize they had tennis tourney overflow parking there... but that parking was there Thursday and it didn't necessitate the closing of the water park. There was still plenty of parking. I'm glad it's open now... and I appreciate KI being proactive about cleaning up (I hope it was proactive), but I refuse to believe that KI would have agreed to allow tennis parking at the expense of the last weekday operating day of Kings Island... so I have to believe it was related to fact that MANY other places in the greater region closed their waterparks (aka Columbus) and KI attracts guests from that particular region (many of whom might have come to Soak City had they been open).
  25. Soak is closed on what should have been the last weekday operating day of the season. https://m.facebook.com/visitkingsisland/?tsid=0.33347357576712966&source=typeahead Rumor has it that it is related to a regional outbreak of the crypto virus... Many public pools in Columbus are closing tomorrow to clean up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
