Well... Day 3 of the meal plan. Service has been far better than I expected... Plenty of registers open. Food prep folks are doing well also. Disappointed today that only three days in and la Rosa said they had run out of dipping sauce... And Coney potato works ran out of gluten free chicken tenders. I understand that this happens on the last weekend of the season (since they don't want to have extra supplies), but it should never happen on the first weekend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually think this is good. Lighter cup, less mess when it spills, faster fill up. Directionally it at least makes sense, the more drink refill stations you have, the smaller you can make the cups... Obviously ability to process people through quickly becomes even more important. Tom and chee bacon BBQ was on point!!! Only major complaint is wait time... Which I understand... Although I would highly encourage them to stop allowing custom orders (like no sauce, or hold the chips). That essentially takes their 5 sandwich menu and turns it into a 10+ option menu and totally slowed down the line. One idea I had to prevent line jumpers would be to do something like stamp hands at the cue entrance of the line.. And then once you got to the official/permanent entrance for timbers they would check and confirm you had a stamp before letting you proceed. Even better would be a counter stamp, the person checker would just keep seeing numbers increasing throughout the day and would know that the order coming on matched the prefer people got in line. We just left. Way too many people for this to be enjoyable. Great weather, holiday weekend, and the fact that this year all good passes get in (vs only those who renewed early). Here's a picture of the line to get into the park when I was leaving at 6:30. This is after security, and before the turnstile... There's a larger mob waiting for security. just because it stops being full service, doesn't mean you can't go in there and eat your meal sitting down. If it speeds up the process, I'm all for it. If they add Tom and chee, then it's like adding 1.5 in return (0.5 for Soak City). I'd personally round that up to 2 because both the bbq and Tom add menu items that completely didn't exist on the meal plan before (vs red and potato works which basically had more burgers and chicken strips as the meal plan option). Was the dining plan logo removed from the app at some point? I know reds was removed from the dining plan on the main website... So I figured that they just hasn't updated the app yet... But if the logo was removed and then was recently added back, that sounds promising. (Although my understanding was that making updates to the app required an outside vendor...
