I'm headed to the park for the first time ever. I'll be trying to go 8pm or so, and then again the next day in the morning for the first half of the day. I was wondering if I'd get free parking at 8pm or later. Do they close the booths, or do they charge you right up til closing time? And how much is parking? Thanks.

Parking is $10. Preferred is $15. And when Cedar Fair closes the parking booths at Kings Island I know not...By 8, Paramount Parks had frequently closed down the booths and sent the toll takers home. But at $10 per car, it sure wouldn't take much to pay them to stay...

Anyone?

I arrived at 8:45 on July 3 and the tolls were abandoned.

Beast is almost at the back of the park if not at the back of the park. I would say on a wed. You should be able to get in I would say 10+ rides, all depending on the crowds that is...

Much depends on the weather that day, as well...

Wednesday is a great day to go, as a rule...

Just remember that The Beast temporarily ceases operation at 9:50 for the nightly fireworks display. The line remains open until ten. Once the crew has been given the all clear to resume operation, the ride reopens to finish out the line. The Racer also apparently does this as well, though I`ve never witnessed it at The Racer like I have at The Beast.

yeah, best time to ride The Beast imo, after the fireworks have gone off... and everyones left for the most part. the middle of the week is all good for trips to ki though, as a rule i go tuesdays through thursdays only, as they tend to be the least crowded, sometimes not crowded at all, more like a healthy conglomeration of people that keep the lines to a minimum.

Beast- Front or 2nd seat of last car

SOB- 2nd from very last seat

Racer-Front or 2nd seat or last car

Top Gun- Near the Front

Vortex - Very Last Car

Italian Job- Very Front (View)

Wouldn't second from very last seat on Son of Beast be the front seat of the back car? Remember, they are only two bench trains now.....
