KI Logo

The new CFE Logo for KI is the rectangle box with the abstract sillouette of two coaster hills, perhaps crossing paths. This appears to be CFE's own logo placed next to the KI Name. It's a simply contemporary design that seems to fit with new lettering or font. Looks decent.

However, while, I do like the new logo, I was a bit disappointed that a contemporary sillouette of the Eiffel Tower was not placed inside this rectangle. I mean, we all love coasters, but it is somewhat generic. If you see that logo... it could almost be any CFE park. The Eiffel Tower is more distinguished and associated with KI (Kings Dominion, too). I would like to see the logo become a little more personal (to KI). CFE has not used their own logo for all their parks, so I don't think using the Eiffel Tower would be unreasonable. For those who are not too familiar with the days prior to the Paramount branding, the Eiffel Tower was on everything... hats, shirts, ash trays, plates, mugs, maps, trash cans, and... well... you get the point. Had there been a website, it would have been there, too!

Does anyone elase agree? The Eiffel Tower should be there... it's just right. I previous emailed comments to CFE. Perhaps others could do it as well.

Just a thought... thanks for reading!

I totally agree. Besides, the Eiffel Tower has been there consistently through Taft, KECO, Lindner, Paramount Communications, Viacom, CBS and now Cedar Fair. It will probably outlast Cedar Fair's ownership, as well.

It deserves to be on the logo. If not now, for the next owner. Whenever that is.

I think the current logo reminds me way too much of Cedar Point's trash cans. But that's just me.
