Racerrider Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 what type of rollercoaster do you want to see in the next few years Quote
DropZone99 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I would either want a unique B&M dive machine, or an intamin giga coaster with a 100 degree drop! Or another wooden coaster! =] Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I picked giga because I didn't see hyper and I picked Arrow because I think it's cool that you threw in that option. Quote
Ki Man Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 Vekoma launched suspended coaster that goes 900ft high and 500 mph. Quote
KIBeast Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 I was about to say the same thing Boddah. I'd like to see an Intamin hyper. Quote
familyguyfun1 Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 We just need something that no other park will have, that is BIG, and FAST!! Quote
Vortex Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 How about something that is new and different? Kings Island is know for getting new coasters that are a first. I know of three coasters, but only one is still running today. Quote

Ki Man Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 ^ That would kill you. -Hauntguy Fine... A TOGO launched suspended coaster that goes 900ft high and 500 mph. Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 OH.MY.WORD! As if Manhattan Express aka The Roller Coaster at New York, New York were not bad enough... Quote
The Interpreter Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 We just need something that no other park will have, that is BIG, and FAST!! The rising food prices??? --Terpy, running for his room Quote
DropZone99 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 How about they put Sling Shot horizontal so everyone gets whiplash... hah.. =] Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 A dive machine with tons of ejector air time and lots of twist like maverick. Quote
Ki Man Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I'd like a B&M Dive Machine TRY maneuver through turns like Maverick......LMAO Quote
DropZone99 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Well i narrowed it down to... 1. A B&M dive machine in Rivertown. 2. A wooden coaster that has a steeper drop than El Toro. 3. An Intamin coaster, a mixture between Maverick and Millenium Force. 4. A B&M invert, something unique... not like most inverts! Well thats it... =] Quote
KIBeast Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 I think KI has enough wood coasters already. The coaster firsts for KI are: The Bat - first suspended coaster The Vortex - first multi-looper to do six inversions Runaway Reptar - first junior inverted coaster Don't know if there are more firsts. AdventureExpresser Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Wasn't the King Cobra the first stand up coaster in the US also, and don't forget The Racer was what started the entire explosion of mega coasters. I would love to see something with high speed, lots of drops and smoothness come to the park, I would love to have a combination of the Griffon and Apollo's Chariot come to the park. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 Actually I would really enjoy a rocket coaster like Storm RUnner but maybe a little bit longer and some more airtime hills. Quote
PKIVortex Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 KI had more firsts then that. Flight of Fear was the first LIM Launched coaster, King Cobra was the first looping stand up coaster in North America. Racer was the first coaster to be turned around to go backwards. Son of Beast, the worlds tallest, fastest, and only looping wooden coaster. The Beast is the first of it's kind as well as still being the longest wooden coaster in the world. Scooby's'Ghosterer Coaster was the first suspended coaster for kids. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted September 14, 2007 Posted September 14, 2007 How can everyone forget about Face/Off. It was the first coaster in the midwest to have a face-to-face train. Also dropzone I belive is the worlds tallest gyro drop. Quote
