September 26, 200718 yr ^I wouldnt consider SOB a pice of crap. I would consider it a piece of junk that is rough as a cobb. But i mean it is still a decent coaster. What do you expect for a wooden coaster 200 feet tall. But Cobb's wooden coasters aren't THAT rough! --The Interpreter, who sure hopes more than a few get that one (For those who do not, a hint: http://www.rcdb.com/ir.htm?contact=25 ) LOL Beast1979

September 26, 200718 yr Click on the link. Mr. Cobb was a distinguished coaster designer. Among his coasters are The Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Over Georgia.
September 26, 200718 yr Ive rode GASM at SFOG, pretty good, but way to jerkey.. and some people say SOB is jerkey... =]
September 26, 200718 yr I don't say it's jerky, I say it's among the roughest rides in the park; If not the roughest.
October 2, 200718 yr Sure it would. Your telling me a sportsbar with tv's would not work in international street. Yeah, because so many people want to pay a 40 dollar admission to go sit in a sports bar and watch tv.
October 2, 200718 yr The sports bar idea works at Cedar Point, We were going to watch the Ohio State game but it was to crowded, I think it was a 25 minute wait for a table.
October 2, 200718 yr Sure it would. Your telling me a sportsbar with tv's would not work in international street. Yeah, because so many people want to pay a 40 dollar admission to go sit in a sports bar and watch tv. For a season passholder who already payed a flat rate to enjoy the park as much as possible, I feel quite the contrary, it could very well work. It is like all things...one more thing to do at the park. And although to pay to visit just that day, and spend the whole sunday catching up on the NFL would be quite well, stupid. More than one person may do it, and a passholder who lives close to the park and goes nearly every day at a cost of about 5 dollars or less a day, it could be a very worthwhile addition....a much better addition than removing the Flying Eagles! Especially if you're a season passholder. It would be like a BW3's with a multi million dollar playground!

Yeah, because so many people want to pay a 40 dollar admission to go sit in a sports bar and watch tv. Yes, but season pass holders like me would love to have a place like this. You can roll your eyes all you want but this is something KI needs. Maybe not a sportsbar but some type of restaurant. By the way, CWL new attractions for 2007 were restaurants. I think we posted at the same time Cory!
October 2, 200718 yr I could see it working really well for the passholder mom or dad that takes their teenager to the park but would rather watch the game than ride the rides that day. They're nearby if needed but the kids can go have fun.
October 2, 200718 yr You know, I remember KI doing something like this during fear fest two years ago! I went saturday night, and KI rolled big screens and projectors into the Fest Haus so people could watch Ohio State play Penn St. So many people were just glued to those TV's It was nice how KI catered to those big OSU fans that night.
October 3, 200718 yr I remember that. I was one of those people that were glued to the TV's! I would love for KI to get a sports bar or something along those lines.
October 3, 200718 yr Most parents would never let their children out of their sight (I would know ). i am 14 and my mom lets me go anywhere and she is very protective she trust me a lot
October 3, 200718 yr yeah coastergirl, you and me both! One of the benefits of a season pass, you only have to do what you want to do!
October 3, 200718 yr Not to mention that that sports bar at Cedar Point has some of the best food in the park. . .
October 3, 200718 yr What do you expect for a wooden coaster 200 feet tall. Even though it is not 200': http://www.rcdb.com/ig3183.htm?picture=51 Yet the funny thing is: yeah SoB is 200'. But the roughest part has nothing to do with the height of the first drop.
