KIBeast Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 Classy move. Great idea to let them in free. About time someone recognizes the efforts and courage put forth by these brave men and women. Quote
RollerCoasterUSA Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 how much you wanna bet many peeps will still cme and be like "darn all the rides are broken today" stupid GP Quote

Knoxville Posted August 24, 2004 Posted August 24, 2004 I heard it was really good, but they could atleast be running ONE ride. Duhlee anyone? Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Yea they should have Action Zone open or something. What excalty is it. Like you walk through an exbitate and that is it. Quote
italianchef Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 I applaud PKI for honoring the heroes of of 9/11. Though our culture idolizes athletes and actors who are over-paid for doing what's fun, the real heroes of our nation are the police, military, fire fighters, and EMTs. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef: Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Speaking from the perspective of a fireman, I am sure that if you ask any of the service men and women who were there, they would say that they were "just doing there jobs", but it is a shame that it takes something like this to have so many men and women who sacrafice so much to be heros as a living recognized. King Bowser Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 So very true this is awsome I love how PKI is giving something to the heros. But whats up with the NO RIDES? Quote
KIBeast Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Tanner, what I meant was kind of the same thing that Italian Chef said. It's time for the public to notice and recognize everyday heroes. Athletes, actors, and musicians are no heroes. I have found new respect for Boddah. Quote
Dane Posted August 25, 2004 Author Posted August 25, 2004 For anyone who didn't know, Ryan is a firefighter. Quote
KIBeast Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Duh! I should have known that since his name is on the banner. I feel silly. Ryan, is this something that you will attend? Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Yeah, I'll be there. I really think everyone should attend, not only because it's for the heros of 9/11, but it just sounds like something that's really neat. My actual intention will be PKIC coverage. Ryan Quote
Jason Bourne Posted August 25, 2004 Posted August 25, 2004 Went to the official memorial in D.C. This well be nothing I haven't seen. Quote
