Good News For coney better than the first Bull Dozer news. Where the developer was going to keep only the coaster>>> This looks awseome and will compliment the history the future.

Just think what cincinnati should have done is made the shooting star a national historical landmark like coney ny did???

But good news for New York:

Good news for anyone who wants to see the old Coney. Any developement will not take place till the end of 2008.

Chuck, planing to go next year but making the Cyclone a landmark is not what saved it. It was the CITY of New YORK purchasing it. Rehabing it and leasing it to a operator. I knew Steve Urbanowitz who wrote a few amusement park books and also managed the Cyclone for ten years.

Well, actually he was media director for Astroland, but close enough!

(Steve Urbanowicz would have a heart attack, were he alive, and heard anyone say he managed the Cyclone....

--The Interpreter, who knows these things, and thought he may have even heard a plop around 10:53am today, and wasn't sure at the time why!)
