Tuskin
Very interesting read. Big Dipper only 50,000..
XGatorHead 8904
Yeah, that's not exactly what I would call a steep price for a coaster.
Tuskin
Agreed .... at least on the Big Dippers Price ..... but on RWB thats a different story
flightoffear1996
Big Dipper could be worth the investment for my backyard. Just think of all the people lining up paying $3 a ride to ride this historcal roller coaster.
Tomkatt7
Big Dipper could be worth the investment for my backyard. Just think of all the people lining up paying $3 a ride to ride this historcal roller coaster. Well, considering how many people lined up to ride it last year, you may want to reconsider? Cory Butcher
So um, this is deffinately going in my grandparents back field. I do happen to know a family member who has a 75,000 dollar limit of credit on their card...I'll have to look into exploiting them....I mean pleading with them, lol! Raptor66
Na, my grandparents have a nice big field to put this in. On second thought, It would look nice in the wooded ravine behind my house.
Tuskin
im gonna demolish my house for it
BoddaH1994
The $50,000 isn't bad, but where are you going to get the 2 million it'll take to deconstruct, transport, and construct it?
PKIDelirium
Those prices are incorrect. They just pulled the original construction costs from the RCDB pages, thinking it was the current price.
The Interpreter
Not to mention, it's an auction. . .
raptor
Could make a nice addition to either coney island or strickers grove
PKIDelirium
I'd like to see Coney get Big Dipper. I think even that would be a little too big for Stricker's right now.
BoddaH1994
I don't know for sure that Sticker's owns enough land for the Big Dipper. On top of that, I don't know that they have a big enough maintenance department to take care of it. Coney would be a much better option. raptor
Would be awesome to see it at coney, although I'm sure that won't happen
Tuskin
Highly doubtful, but would definatly bring some more people to coney =^)
flightoffear1996
I still like the in my backyard idea the best. I will drive up there and take it down my self
Keysersoze
It's too bad, I still say the Dipper would do great at Kings Island. With Kings Island and there thing with wooden coasters I figure it would fit right in, as a peice of history that it is.
adventure2007
Yeah I think Coney would be a great place for it . Im not really a big fan of Coney myself but I do know alot of people that go there in the summer. This would be a great main attraction for them to draw in more people. I might even go to ride it a few times myself if it were there just for a change of pace. My back yard would always be nice also.
art_star
pack it all into a Uhaul. Get a couple of buddies and a 24 pack and that thing will be in your backyard in no time.
