italianchef Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 In the spirit of the 2008 Election, let's vote for president - of Kings Island. There are only two major parties, Hanna-Barbera and Nickelodeon, and lots of candidates. Who do you vote for as president of Kings Island? Quote
Browntggrr Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Hanna- Barbera of course! I can see the headline now, "I'm a chickenhawk and not a chicken!" Quote

The Interpreter Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I'm writing in my choices: Bugs Bunny for President Daffy Duck for Vice President Fog Horn Leghorn for Secretary of State Tweety Bird for Attorney General Sylvester the Cat for Secretary of Defense and (wait for it) Dick Kinzel for Secretary of Treasury Quote
Browntggrr Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 ^ Aaaagh Gotta stir the pot huh? Now is when you should run for your room! Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 If it will make you happy, I will add: Gary Story, for the Joker and/or Court Jester Quote
JacksonPKI Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Dick Kinzel for Secretary of Treasury ohh jeeze! Quote
tubaman Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 How come the Nickelodeon Party gets three representatives, and the Hanna-Barbera party only gets one? Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 By the way, in Cedar Fair parlance, the position of vice president and general manager at Kings Island is encumbered...by Mr. Greg Scheid. Whoever becomes president of Kings Island would be his boss! I can only imagine Mr. Scheid working for Mr. Bunny! Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Topic named changed so as not to be misleading to anyone that this has anything to do with any upcoming United States presidential elections. Quote
CoastersNSich Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Write-in candidate for the Hanna-Barbera Party: George Jetson Quote
Cory Butcher Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 So, Im the only one to vote Jimmy Neutron, oh well thats me, always taking the road less traveled. I think Jimmy, although I don't like his show, is very smart, and that would be good for a place like Kings Island. Always good to have smart people in high positions. Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think the current person in charge of the park is doing quite alright, i'd rather have Greg Scheid than a fictional cartoon charecter. Quote
Cory Butcher Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think the current person in charge of the park is doing quite alright, i'd rather have Greg Scheid than a fictional cartoon charecter. Agreed! Quote
King Maple The Tree King Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I think the current person in charge of the park is doing quite alright, i'd rather have Greg Scheid than a fictional cartoon charecter. Agreed! Sorry, i had to... One-word responses - One-word responses are unacceptable for anything with the exception of the forum games. This is simply because it's unusual for a one-word response to actually have any merit or thought put into it. If you agree with someone, let us know why, don't just leave us hanging with "^agreed". This is also specifically hard on our dial up users who have to download the whole template constantly with really no content in it. Quote
Cory Butcher Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I knew someone was going to bring that up. Sorry if it bothered anyone, what I was going to say sounded too hokey, so I didnt write it out. Quote
italianchef Posted January 4, 2008 Author Posted January 4, 2008 Topic named changed so as not to be misleading to anyone that this has anything to do with any upcoming United States presidential elections. I intentionally did that to take advantage of current events. And it's been a success as many folks have fulfilled their KI civic duty. DOO-ROGERS 08 - When it comes to eating, they're never late! KIBeast Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I vote Twinkle Toes of the Hanna Barberra Party! Quote

Browntggrr Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 And guess who ownes Hanna-Barbera? Yup, it's Warner Bros. http://www2.warnerbros.com/web/hannabarbera/index.jsp Quote
The Interpreter Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 ...which explains why you can find Scooby Doo in any Six Flags park. . . Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I just think that Jimmy Neutron lacks the necessary political experience. Quote
Reclaimer Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Spongebob is just too soft on the issues Quote
Dvo Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Ultimate write-in vote: Dick Dastardly from the Hanna-Barberra party. Remember Wacky Races?!?! Quote

KIBeast Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Ultimate write-in vote: Dick Dastardly from the Hanna-Barberra party. Remember Wacky Races?!?! I do remember the Wacky Races. I also remember another favorite of mine was the Laffalympics. Remember that one? The Yogi Yahooies, the Scooby Doobies, and the Really Rottens. I'd also like for Jabber Jaw to be Twinkle Toes' Vice President. What could be better than a shark who sounds like Curly of the Three Stooges? Quote
Browntggrr Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 I was going to suggest another Looney Toon, Pepe Lepu. But we already had a womanizer in the White House. (and I'm a big Clinton fan! It's just funny!) Quote
