beastdude
I will get to the cheer leaders later. I stayed at pki for 9/4 and 9/5. DAY ONE The day started out simple enough with some breakfest at bobevans. We ( my sister, her fiance, two nieces and my parents) got to PKI at about 11:30. we got in line for are seson passes and got done it about an half hour. The first think I wanted to do was ride The Beast. With a no wait line I couldn'an pass it up. It was a great ride. Still the best in my book. After that i headed to to HB that was were my nieces were. They were in line for scbdathc so I snagged a lemonade and relaxed. After a cople other small rides in hbs we were getting hungry. We ate breakfast at 9:00 and it was now 2:00 We went to wings and got some chickan and it was great as usual. After that, I headed to TR;TR with my dad. it was his first time and he loved it, so did I all the effects were working and it was a great ride. The next ride up was delirum, this ride has become my favorite and will be rode 7 times before the two days were over. The next ride will be DZ it a classical and is always great. the only bad thing was it was not turning. Beileve it or not it was already 9:30 and We decided to leave and get some sleep. Oh by the way we didn't check into our hotel until 2:30 am friday. When we got back to the hotel the prakinf lot was completly packed. there was not a spce to be found. Before i know it I was completly surrounded by cheer leaders. I then realized that this weekend was a three day cheer leading competition. DAY TWO Day two started with the sound of cheering in the hailways. I go out to see what going on and almost get a cart wheel in the face. I just knew this day was going to be interestring. After checking out and waiting in traffic we got into the park at 11. we whent in the BB entrance. After i put my stuff into a locker I hopped on a train to ride tomb raider. after a 45 minute wait I get into my seat and it breaks down. i then wait another 45 minutes and finally get to ride. It was still a great ride. I go to bb to cool down and for some lunch. I then head back to ride Delirium. it was great but i was suroounded by cheerleades again. ( Not complaining) After a while it gets kind of annoying. i rode delirum 3 times in a row and loved it. whent back to ride racer with my niece she loved it was her first time. when back and rode delirum once more and then to Son of Beast. I was completly suprized it was smooth. yes i said smooth. i decided to cross my legs and it helped a ton. I loved it. I hate to say it but The Beast was ruffer. now it was time for the last ride of the night delerium. i got in line behind two cheerleaders who were really cool. except they were realy off minded trying to be polite) They think I live on a island. It was the best time I have ever had waiting in line. the last ride on Delirium was the best . I had a great two day nd thank you for reading if you have any questions please ask. Ps I never could find Zosobeast I looked for two days.
ZosoBeast
Ps I never could find Zosobeast I looked for two days. I was there Friday, Saturday and a very small part of Sunday! Friday, the park was DEAD!! No waits for anything! Saturday the park was packed as you said. Cheerleaders everywhere! I wasnt there long enough to see the final crowd for Sunday. I was looking for ya, but as big as that place is, I knew it was a worthless effort! I was going to go up the tower to say hello to PKID, but I dont want her to be thinking I am some crazy **jjmisskick** wannabe! lol Glad you had fun! DeliriumDreamer
I was in the park for Saturday morning and all day sunday. I was all over AZ on Sunday, so you would have to be pretty lucky to have found me.
Vortex
Cheerleaders everywhere! Don't goto Walt Disney World or IOA during cheerleader week. I bet PKI was very bad with long lines.
PKI_Diana
I worked double shifts Friday and Saturday, I was off Sunday, and I worked an early shift today...... I wasn't hard to find, but I didnt have a good weekend.
ZosoBeast
PKI_Diana, did you at least make it to the Fireworks on Sunday?
italianchef
I wanted to go this weekend, but I had to cover an event for an article on Saturday and was busy yesterday and today. How crowded was the park on Sunday and Monday? If attendance was light, I'll be sad because I wanted to visit Crocodile Dundee's Boomerang Bay one last time this season - if I could avoid huge crowds and waits. Please let me know how CDBB was today and yesterday if you know. Have a great day! Italian Chef :chef:
PKI_Diana
PKI_Diana, did you at least make it to the Fireworks on Sunday? No. It's a long disappointing story that I'm not getting into.

Monday, when I left at 4 it wasn't THAT bad yet, seemed like a typical weekend day.
italianchef
If it that crowded than I guess there is no great loss in me being too busy to visit. CDBB will still be there next year. I plan to visit PKI 1 or 2 times more this season in spite of my 2-week trip to Japan, holding down 2 jobs now, and having a baby. Have a great day! ZosoBeast
Hey there Chef, I finally got around to buying your book at Kings Island over the weekend. It made for a nice read and it gave me something to do while I was camping alone this weekend after park hours. So when is the 2nd ed coming out? Heck, I would have hung out with you at least for a while! I went Monday. Cheerleaders everywhere... not like your typical highschool cheerleaders that everybody loves, but 12 year old girls wearing enough eye shadow to look mike Mimi from Drew Carey. Monday was packed, but Dane and I still got a lot accomplished as far as work for the page goes.
