Which of the 11 new concepts do you like?

Featured Replies

I like the concept of the MTV Soundwave. But, PKI already has something like this, just without the music.

I love the Spongebob Squarepants:Crash Course Boating School I think it would bring in more families and more people that cant get enough of Spongebob plus PKI doesn't have any rides in NC themed to Spongebob so this would be an exellect chioce!

That sound wave sounded really cool until I noticed the MTV logo let me just say I hate MTV the programing is awful. So I voted for my daughters favorite ride outta the bunch Spongebob.

I think we will see a Nick Central Expanison with The Nickelodeon CarWash & Spongebob Squarepants:Crash Course Boating School...That would kick so much butt. That Mtv soundwave sounds like a re-theming of FoF dont it.

I would like to have the TV Land Diner. As a fan of old TV, it would really appeal to me.

Have a great day!

There is already a rumor over at CoasterBuzz that Preston T. Tuckers roadside inn will get the TVLand themed in 2006 along with a re-theming of FOF and a Nick expansion....wow rumors do hit the net fast!

Those rumors came from a concept drawing. Some people.

Anyway, I think maybe they are considering the Tomb Raider ride and MTV Soundwave for other Paramount Parks. It could be that they will re-theme FOF, but I like it the way it is. Here's my new concept. Based on Titanic...it's a one time thing. Basically, they drown you and then complain when you don't renew your season pass for next year. Honestly, would would make a ride based on a disaster? Truly tasteless.

I hope the park gets the MI show. That is what the park really needs now a few good shows including a Disney-like action show.

If you look very closely at the concept art for the MTV Soundwave coaster you will realize that this "new" attraction is simply a re-theme of Flight of Fear. Look closely it is the same building outside, just made up to look like the entrance to a concert venue, and the dead give away was the concept of the que-line....look at the "stage" it is the UFO that is already there, and those giant screens are just attached to the scaffolding.

Also in my opinion if the park was to do the TV Land Diner my money is on the Wings Diner getting the make-over. It is right there on the border to Nick Central and would make the most sesense

It also said in the concepts not to take into account the artist renderings. They wanted you to imagine the ride without any preconceptions about what it would look like. So, instead of drawing a new queue and inside, they just used the one already available. I'm not saying that PKI wouldn't re-theme FOF, but you can't assume that it is just a re-theme and not a new installation at another park. Only time will tell.

I really think PKI will expand Nick Central in 2006 I think they will add that Spongebob Crash Course boating coaster and will replace the Quick Draw Railway and **** Dasturdlys Planes. The Nick Carwash should go on the green slime zone maze with a re-theme to FoF and wings being re-themed to TVLand.

After reading the survey, I thought the same think you all did, about Wings becoming TV Land. But the resturant Wings is themed to a movie already. That was my only debate.
