BavarianBeatle
Drop Tower. Say the vows on the way up and then kiss the bride after the ride is over. No wonder I'm not married................... ..which is kind of the way the ride opened on media day. For some reason, most of the couples were on the hefty side..so much so that some were not allowed to re-ride later in the day! I hope that isn't a comment about my taste in women... Jasper
Under the Eiffel Tower would make a perfect wedding chapel and for the honeymoon i would go to the Great Wolf Lodge and chill there and Kings Island for about 5 days straight. Ahhh the perfect plan.
Cory Butcher
If I get married in a park, I am sure it will be at Disney. Or maybe even Cypress Gardens.
Browntggrr
^ Yeah Disney would be great. But perhaps if you lived in the Orlando area, or if you were renewing your vows. Only because, IMO, I would like to have as many family and friends attend (as well as my spouse's). If I were to have my "first big" wedding in Florida, perhaps only 20% (rough guess) of the invited guests would attend. And those that just could not get the time off, or don't have the money to travel could feel slighted because they could not attend. When I married 8 years ago, it was in Erie, and lucky (lucky? ) enough my wife was from $hitsburgh, so her family only had to travel about 2 hours to attend the wedding. We had 300 guests attend, and it was a fantastic time. Now if it was in Disney, I know most could not attend, nor could I expect them to. On top of that, I can only imagine how much it would cost for a 300 person wedding at Disney. YIKES! We did however spend 2 weeks at Disney (Port Orleans) for our honeymoon with side trips to BGA, SWO, IoA and US.

Browntggrr
The parking lot. It's closer to the car. Which has a backseat......... Ahhh, the consummate romantic. <G> Romantic and traditional. The wait until after the vows would be excruciating. Every Father of the Bride's dream. So yeah, I'll give him kudos for that one. And that the backseat is better than a photo booth. CoastersRZ
On the subject of getting married at parks. Coney will occasionally have actual wedding ceremonies at Moonlite Gardens. Usually the reception will follow immediately after at Moonlite. But most of the time it is just the wedding reception that is held at Moonlite Gardens. Occasionally, the wedding party will make a short visit at the Carousel (located right next to Moonlite) for photos and a quick spin. Purplehaze
If it was me I think the last thing I would be thinking about is a spin on the carousel.
Beast79
I would have to get married out in the woods around White Water Canyon since that is the ride that I meet my wife when she was a ride operator and that was one of the rides I did maint. on back during the 2003 season. Mine was a fantasy too...... I'm glad I'm not the only one who will not get married again...... Thanks!!!! Never say never. If I had a US dollar for every person I ever heard say they would never get married again and then watched as they did, I could buy a large order of Potato Works fries and a Coke at any Cedar Fair park. dare-to-fly
If I get married in a park, I am sure it will be at Disney. Or maybe even Cypress Gardens. Cypress Gardens...this is an excellent idea. I've got it! No decorations would be necessary. Have the wedding at Cypress Gardens under the banyan tree in the botanical gardens. The tree is decoration enough!
DropZone99
I would get married on SOB, no just joking... um, probably right infront of the Royal Fountains were the Paramount sign used to be.
The Interpreter
You know, there is strong business potential here. I see from Star Trek: The Experience's website that Cedar Fair is now promoting weddings there. . .

Guest kwindshawne
Better yet don't get married and just live together There ya go!!! I have never seen a wedding in a park, but I have seen quite a few engagements.
Shaggy
I've seen 20 couples married at once at KI. Holiday World incessantly does it on their coasters every time they need publicity. Oy But really... marriages at an amusement park just seem... I don't know... "de classe" for some reason. Those couples that parade around Disney Parks with the Mickey Top-Hat and Minnie Veil ears get on my last nerve. Just my opinion. I guess if that's really what you want... then more power to you. So I'd say the best place to be married at KI is not listed as an option. It's hands down the Carousel... Shaggy
The Interpreter
And be sure to work things out with the park in advance...not only may you get some nice surprises, but you may get some not so nice ones if you don't....

Good idea, I definitly do not want to get into any trouble for getting married there, and they frown on it, then maybe they can tell me of some place outside that is close to there to do it at... I cant wait to get married, and we both love Kings Island.. been there almost every year in the 6 we have been together for vacations... so it would be nice... anyway, thanks for the warning of letting me know to make sure its ok..
