Gordon Bombay Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 I hope this RV company does better than other RV dealers have done with certain other Classic Amusement Parks. Quote

Cory Butcher Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I hope this RV company does better than other RV dealers have done with certain other Classic Amusement Parks. You just had to didn't you? lol. I agree with Gordon, I am skeptical when these types of transactions take place based on what I have witnessed in the past. I must admit though, it is not necessarily the buyer that will make the biggest impact on a park, but its management team. In the case of Lesourdsville Lake, had there been a better manager than the Pughes, we may still be riding the SE! Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I would feel more confident about this entire transaction if the buyer had run amusement parks, not just rented tent sites and offered wi-fi access and free showers. Note they have a facility just outside Geauga Lake. Perhaps they have learned to manage amusement parks by osmosis. At least one poster here will doubtless be thrilled, they have an HB contract. stremmefan Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 OH GREAT! More new business owners trying to come in and change things to the way they want to make things. Forget what the patrons want. Quote

Forget what the patrons want. Yeah, they have the HB franchise, and might bring your precious HB to IB. How bad would THAT be? Sigh. Quote

I'm just wondering... When you purchase your first home, are you going to pick the color or are you going to let your neighbors pick out the color? Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Neither....he will forever leave it just as it was when he bought it, as the former owners knew best, and he would never ever change anything--out of respect for them. Quote
Beast1979 Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 I would have liked it if Cedar Fair bought it, then I could get there Free! Quote

Cory Butcher Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 When you purchase your first home, are you going to pick the color or are you going to let your neighbors pick out the color? Well that would depend on if he is in a homeowner's association in a historical neighborhood Quote
