Like I said in my past post^ You will only probly see them race on weekends or crowed days...Maybe not even on crowed days! If anything they are turning around the backwards too save money. So on slow days they can shut down one side and keep other side going. Even on crowed days they will probly open both sides, but may not race them! Their goal is to load the train, check riders safety, and send them on their way and load the next train.

We are all aware of your previous posts, and myself, Woofer, and Interpreter had been saying similar things for quite some time.

I think it would be really cool if they have one train on each side running backwards, that way you can have Two backwards racing, then two forwards. And if they close one side for less cowded days you would just wait and see if you will end up going backwards of forwards! I think that this would solve the problem of closing one side to save money AND it would satisfy the people who like backwards better.

From Screamscape:

News - (3/25/08) I’m not sure now true this is, but from what one reader tells us The Racer’s trains will be labeled as “Racer North” and “Racer South” for the 2008 season.

Well Screamscape seems to be turning up quite the tid bits on Kings Island Lately.

First of all, I've got donniejb beat by a few years.

Secondly, I have 8mm movies taken by myself on the right side of The Racer in 1975. I have them transfered to VHS but I don't know how to get them online. They're great movies - other rides too! Someone let me know how to do this.
