So the path from the tower to The Beast, the "cornstalkers" location, will be closed... thus creating a longer path to The Beast! Well, I'm sure that won't stop some people from getting back there! You also have a GREAT view of the construction from the employees dining area behind IS Showplace... not to mention a great view from the tower... KI, there not hiding anything! -Hauntguy

Yeah, and when I read the first post in this topic where it said that the path would be longer, I thought to myself "Well, those of us who went to HH last year have already had a taste of what that is like. And it really really sucks."

I was actually looking forward to getting back to normal. It looks like the long way around is here to stay for a while. Either way, it matters not to me. I'm just ready to be BACK!

And, is it me, or is this post long since down the drain with the lake water?

Yes but isnt the "Worksite" pathway to Coney still open? If so that could be another way (just as long, but not through Nick U) to The Beast.

Well, there are several paths to Rivertown besides that, I just depends where you're coming from and how long you want to walk

Looks like the quickest on Opening Day will be the first right, past Scooby Doo and then prety much straight back. Wonder if we'll see any other construction on the other side of that walk through Rivertown?????

Walk back or not, you still have to go through the parking tolls and make it through security and the gate. That's where the problem was last year. Not so much getting to a ride itself.

Again, since you guys are some of the more well-informed KI patrons, I'm going to warn you that the earlier is the better on opening day. Especially if you can make it through the parking tolls before 10am.

Hey the people in that car was smart. They parked on the roadside and ran to the park gates.

Last year Ryan and I were in a meeting, we both had to be at the park at 9:30 for something and both of us were stuck in traffic for 45 minutes right outside the park. Made it in at 10:02 to to miss the meeting, but make the LaRosas "Grand Re-Opening."

Either show up at 9am or around noon. But GET YOUR PASS PROCESSED EARLY! The line for that only gets worse as the day rolls on.
